  I loved the opening of this fragrance. I couldn’t stop spraying it when I first encountered it. It’s fresh, fruity and clean, perfect for spring. The opening is potent, but after a few minutes it stays only on the skin. Although at this price I don’t mind reapplying every hour, the atomiser is good. The bottle is pretty, although the cap is plastic; it doesn’t look bad and fits well. I liked it so much that I wanted to try the perfume it’s said to be inspired by, Si Passione. The truth is, it does recall it, although of course they aren’t identical. This smells a bit sweeter than Armani’s, which has better performance and smells cleaner and more natural.

  It reminds me of a very elaborate and elegant bathwater. The longevity is short and the trail not very intense, but the result is exquisite. Pear isn’t my favourite note, but vanilla takes over and pauses for a while before moving on to a velvety, relaxed cedar that embraces the jasmine. I love it! I haven’t tried Armani’s ‘Si’ because I didn’t know it existed, so I can’t compare them. Price-quality ratio: 10/10.

  I bought three of these La Rive fragrances and I’m still not sure what to think. Although I’m not well acquainted with the original, the opening smells a bit of alcohol, and once it dries, the first ten minutes are fresh, fruity and musky. However, in the base I don’t like it at all: it’s a synthetic, plasticky and ugly scent. I need to try the other two to see if they’re the same. In the end, I think it’s better to save money and go for the original perfume.
