  I bought it blind. I saw comments suggesting it had a floral vibe like Idole, which matches the notes, but that’s not the reality. It’s a dense, heavy fragrance with a strong sillage, floral and earthy due to an excess of patchouli, spiced, with a strange metallic note that I don’t like and which I think characterises it… that sweetness like burnt sugar with plastic that I’ve smelled in various perfumes (none of which I liked) claiming to be dupes of Bacarat Rouge, never the original, but all of them share common notes with Glossy. If that appeals to you, buy it blind as it is ridiculously cheap ($11-18) for how long-lasting it is, with lovely packaging. The fact that I don’t like it is just a matter of taste; it’s not a bad smell at all, I gave it to my mother and she absolutely loves it.

  It has excellent longevity; there wasn’t much information available, so I bought it blind. It doesn’t resemble Idole at all, contrary to what I read elsewhere! I find it about 90% similar to Burberry Her, and the price-to-quality ratio is very good.

  The best dupe for Burberry Her at $20, with superior longevity. I tested both (one spray on each wrist) and Glossy won by a mile. The only difference is that Burberry Her is slightly more fruity, whereas this is sweeter, but otherwise they are identical, with Glossy lasting much longer. Don’t spend money on the other; this wins blindfolded.

  Over the years, this fragrance has become my favourite. It’s exquisite, sophisticated, spicy yet sweet. At first, it didn’t grab me, but I’ve grown to love it and it definitely stands out by being different from others. I agree it reminds me of Burberry Her, but it leans towards a much warmer, spicier profile; for the price, it’s perfect as a daily signature scent (just not in summer or in enclosed spaces).
