Batch 2016: On first spray, a burst of alcohol gives way within five minutes to lavender and mandarin. Then, pink pepper takes the lead with a sweet melon note, keeping that fruity, slightly sweeter tone until it fades almost imperceptibly into a woody base. Longevity: On skin, it lasts a hard two to three hours, vanishing almost completely by four to five hours; on clothes, it reaches six to seven hours. Sillage: Very weak after the initial burst, barely noticeable at 1.5 metres, with a light trail only for the first hour. Occasion: Suitable for everyone, harmless. Best season: Ideal for spring or cool summers. Time of day: Morning or midday. Use: Daily, for class, work or sport. Value for money: 6/10; it smells clean and gives an energy boost, but the longevity is laughable; there are better options for the price. Verdict: A cheap, functional everyday perfume that does its job without any surprises.
