  • Perhaps those you are addressing feel ‘I hate it’ because they are perfume lovers fed up with this house that only clones and copies bottles; I hope one day they get punished. I can’t judge a perfume that another has already made: one thing is a similar scent and another is a clone. That’s what equivalence houses are for that don’t copy the bottles. Maison Alhambra crosses a dangerous line; even cheap Chinese copies don’t cross it, they change the name but not as much as to not recognise it. This Lattafa subsidiary exceeds ethics: it calcs aromas and bottles that are too similar. Yes, I UNDERSTAND PEOPLE PUTTING ‘I HATE IT’ and now, criticise me as you wish, I’ve been in this world for a while to withstand criticism.

  • I think those who rate this perfume poorly, say they hate it or don’t like it, probably don’t own it or are looking to generate a false perception. They come with the ethical argument of ‘outright copy’, ‘clone’ or ‘inspiration’, but everyone copies (niche, designer, catalogue). Everyone buys what they can and what they like. Curious that those who don’t share the positive opinion give a thumbs down and blue balloons. To the point: ‘Azure’ aligns with the trend of citrus and white florals, with bergamot over an amber and wood base. It goes along the line of ‘Sunrise On The Red Sand Dunes from Zara’ or ‘Amber Oud Aqua from Dubai’. As with any Arab perfume, let it macerate to gain depth and performance. It has an average rating of 3.33-3.40, I hope it stays stable without generating excessive hype that raises the price or depletes stock, as has happened with other fragrances. I like it…

  • It smells exactly like just after peeling an orange, lemon and tangerine, letting your hands dry to reduce the citrus intensity… and then you smell it. 🍊🍋 That exact moment, when the freshness becomes soft, natural and less explosive. It’s one of those fragrances that makes you enjoy breathing.

Beautiful fragrance, lasts longer and projects better than the LV, hehe. The negative votes are from classist people in perfumery who haven’t even smelled it. I’m sure they didn’t try it.

I don’t know if it resembles Afternoon Swim but the notes are identical. If it’s a clone it must smell great, but you like citrus because the LV AS smells like tangerine and sweet orange peel, balanced and slightly sweet on the dry-down. On the other hand, the California Dream from LV is indeed sweet citrus due to the pear. At 330 dollars, if this Azure smells the same, it must be delicious for citrus lovers at a much lower price. 🆗👋🏻

In my life I have never tried the fragrance that LV is inspired by and I also don’t have an expert nose to describe the top, dry-down, etc. notes in detail for Jean Lowe Azure. But I do tell you it’s 100% worth it if you like citrus scents for summer. It’s not a ‘beast mode’, but it exceeds the performance a perfume of this value (approx. 25 USD) should offer. In conclusion, Jean Lowe Azure is very rich, ideal for the heat and apparently everyone likes it, as I’ve received compliments from both men and women. Advice: be happy with what you have. I can’t spend on brands like LV, but there are these ‘low cost’ alternatives that are true gems and allow us to smell very good at an accessible price.

I’m going to test it and as soon as I have my impression, I’ll let you know. To the haters, stop it: I bet my entire collection that the vast majority of those who say it’s not good don’t pay what a high-end fragrance is worth. Throw in the towel and admit that Jean Lowe is creating masterpieces in perfumery!

  • Darternaxxx

It’s the same as the LV one, haha, it’s a joke in perfumery that LV adds nothing new at ridiculous prices. A thousand times this Arab clone because it’s a clone but not a bad one, but much better: same aroma, same projection and it surpasses it hands down in longevity. Only if you’re an LV fan and a hater of dupes will you say it’s not worth it and that it doesn’t resemble the famous Afternoon Swim.

  • I bought it to complete my collection with something citrusy featuring orange and tangerine. It’s light, brightens the day with its three notes and that almost-citrus touch of ginger. For the price, it’s good, although I’ve smelled similar and cheaper things, like Body Shop’s Satsuma. The opening to dry-down is half-realistic, but if you’re an expert in citrus, you’ll note it’s artificial, though it comes very close to real. I haven’t tried the original, but the difference would surely be noticeable there. Overall, it smells nice, rounded and sweetened by an amber that isn’t cloying or artificial, but pleasant. If it were a painting, it would come out orange and shift towards yellow over time. It lasts quite well on clothes, about four hours on skin, projecting for an hour and a half. It won’t stand a reformulation as it would just be water with tangerine juice. Ideal for going out relaxed, without pretensions, just to get a bit of energy. We’ll see if performance improves over time.

As for the scent, it’s similar to Turathi Blue. Owning both seems redundant as an olfactory experience. I’ve never tried Afternoon Swim, so I can’t say if it’s similar.

  • Josué González Céspedes

Gentlemen, we are looking at a masterpiece, 99.99% identical to the original Louis Vuitton. It stands hand-in-hand with the quality of Maison Alhambra’s Immortal; it’s another work of art. I own Turati Blue, and they bear no resemblance to each other.

  • The scent is lovely and the packaging looks good, but the longevity is short, barely an hour and a half, although it projects massively at first. The quality of the aroma is good, nothing synthetic or harsh. It’s essential to let it macerate for a few months; compared to Immortel which lasts triple as long straight out, this goes from lasting 8-10 hours when newly opened to holding up all day on clothes after macerating. I’m left with a sweet-and-sour taste because I expected performance at the level of its siblings. Should I recommend it? Yes and no, because due to the hype it’s a bit pricey for a mid-range Arab dupe; in a few months the price will drop to match the line, so if you don’t urgently need an Afternoon Swim dupe, wait.

  • I bought this fragrance blindly for $25 USD based on the reviews, and the first impression was the charm. It offers that citrus, creamy, and clean sensation; I haven’t tried the LV, but it must be exquisite too. I’ll be testing the longevity once I let it macerate for a couple of weeks or a month, but given the price, I can’t expect more than 5 hours of longevity. Highly recommended.

  • OsvaldoVC

Notable fragrance. Beautiful, sparkling, and pleasant opening. It’s one of those that gives you a hit of energy and well-being when you smell it. Its longevity on skin is reduced, slightly better on clothes. The duration is moderate. I bought and tested the first bottle, then ordered a second. Truthfully, it’s a must-have for its scent and price.

  • I tried about four LV-inspired fragrances. I’m not sure which is the closest match, but what is clear is that this one is the richest. Edit: over time I also tested Pinnace Oryn, and I must say that one is better, more masculine, and natural.

  • cvargasb74

Four words define it: Delicious, Fresh, Citrusy, Long-lasting. I was pleasantly surprised. While the opening is more citrusy than LV’s Afternoon Swim, its dry-down is wonderful: projecting very well for 2 hours and lasting 8 hours on the skin. Excellent for a fresh fragrance…

  • Forget the comparisons with LV or any other brand! I want to move away from that collective madness and be objective. Focusing solely on the scent, without looking sideways, is rich, fresh, long-lasting, beautiful, and affordable.

  • Gastón Hernándo collado

I really love it, it’s pure tangerine, sweet and juicy. It’s citrusy but leans towards tangerine/orange. The aroma is very rich. The projection is weak, very scarce, and its longevity is four to five hours. It’s not a beast mode like Immortal, but it’s worth having in the collection.

  • What these Arab houses are achieving by replicating scents and offering that quality/price ratio is incredible. I take my hat off to them.

  • Sofisticado

A perfume with a huge problem regarding projection; it doesn’t make itself noticed even 15 minutes after application. I’ve never been one for long-lasting scents, as I always say, a decant gives me happiness, but now, at the very least, they should project something, which this oriental proposal doesn’t do by a long shot. DNA very similar to Turathi Blue (much more recommended than this) and others trying to live up to Tygar from Bulgari. A proposal with more sorrow than glory in my opinion, which has been forgotten instantly.

  • GabrielRaz

It’s not a super complex DNA, but ‘Afternoon Swim’ describes it perfectly and replicates it well, with a distinct quality. Unfortunately, the performance is abysmal and the projection is mediocre. It’s full citrus for hot weather; I wouldn’t call it versatile like other fresh scents. I’d only recommend it if you’re fascinated by the DNA and there are no better options; you’ll have to reapply it constantly, and it might not be cost-effective. Check out its sibling ‘Inmortale’, a clone of ‘L’Inmensité’, which has a more complex DNA (though I prefer Azure’s), better quality, performance, and projection. A more solid buy if you’re looking for Louis Vuitton clones.

  • CarlosLaraRdz

Yesterday I bought Azure and can only say it’s the perfect definition of freshness. Where I live, summer temperatures rise to 35-38 degrees and this fragrance is perfect for the summer heat. Longevity is approximately six to seven hours; projection is yet to be seen, I sprayed it at 7 am, it’s now 10 am and it’s still projecting. Delicious.

  • Don’t pay attention to the absurd reviews from people who think they’re the best, claiming it’s bad and that its longevity is poor; in the end, it’s a dupe of LV at a ridiculous price and the original doesn’t last long either. The scent is pleasant once dried; the opening can be very citrusy but after about 20 minutes it turns creamy and very rich. Recommended for extreme heat days.

  • To be honest, I didn’t like it; that combination of ginger and tangerine gave me the smell of wee. It wasn’t just me who noticed; I tested it with more people and they said the same. I wouldn’t recommend it; if you’re looking for something citrusy and oriental, go for Turathi Blue or Liam Blue instead. I clarify that I haven’t tried Afternoon Swim, maybe only this dupe gave me that scent.

  • Carlo Mendez

A minimalist perfume that’s a delight: totally citrusy, vibrant and with plenty of olfactory sparkle. I wore it the first day to the gym and someone came up to ask what I was wearing. Everyone likes it and, being citrusy, it has decent longevity, around five to six hours. Nice bottle and good price. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 8/10, Projection: 7.5/10, Price: I got it for $30. Recommended.

  • BobLeeSwager

Doesn’t last at all, maximum two hours on skin. The scent while it lasts is very good, but due to the poor performance, I don’t think it’s worth it unless you pick it up at a bargain price.

  • JuanCanada

First off, I’ve never tried the original LV Afternoon Swim. That said, Azure smells innocently citrusy, almost like a hard lemon bonbon… those in glass jars dusted with white sugar. I wore it today with a swimsuit, Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops. It’s an informal, relaxed scent for indoors or out, and it’s not overpowering. Several female colleagues asked what I was wearing; they found it clean and soapy. It’s true it smells like a fine hand soap, spa or luxury hotel type, similar to Bath and Body Works. The projection and trail are good for the first two hours, then it stays within a personal bubble. The only solution is to reapply. The bottle maintains the LV silhouette with a magnetic cap. I have over 100 perfumes and this doesn’t stand out in my collection. I use it now and then when I’m too lazy to hunt for the perfect match. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something relaxed, cheap and summery, but don’t expect to turn heads.

  • Lasts like a laugh; for the price, you can reapply. An indifferent perfume, just another one in the pack. It lacks the magic of the original, which serves as comfort knowing you can’t afford the $500 version.

  • Smells divine. Ideal for the hottest summer days. To be honest, it doesn’t last long, only about five hours on the skin.

  • Jean Lowe Azure by Maison Alhambra is, for me, bottled pure addiction: fresh and fruity to the core, one of those scents that instantly lifts your spirits. It has that juicy quality I adore, without trying to be clean or elegant; it’s simply delicious and refreshing. Yes, I know some people complain about its performance… but, honestly, on my skin it’s more than enough: it lasts as long as needed and projects just enough for those who get close to notice (and enjoy) it. Not all perfumes need to roar to be good; this, with its carefree summer character, conquers me every time I wear it.

  • It’s worth clarifying that I haven’t tried the LV version. Azure seemed rather simple to me. Is it rich? Yes, but nothing more; it has nothing special and the longevity isn’t particularly good. It reminds me of citronella disinfectant, haha, because it’s overwhelmingly citrusy. Those who love very citrusy fragrances will adore it.

  • santioviedo08

At first, I didn’t like it at all. It just smelled of freshly ground ginger, projecting nothing else. It felt soapy and resembled a floor cleaner. I set it aside, but after several months, it changed completely. Now, the opening is more citrusy, and you can really feel the orange; the ginger is perfectly balanced with the orange notes. It lasts a long time on clothes. It’s a fresh fragrance that, if you let it macerate, you’ll end up loving it.

  • From the outset, I only smell lemon and ginger. The odd thing is that it doesn’t actually contain lemon; it smells soapy, almost like dishwashing liquid. Reading other reviews suggests I should let it macerate to appreciate the tangerine/orange notes. It doesn’t last long and has very little projection, though at this price point, it might be worth using as a shower gel. I wouldn’t buy it again; it’s not the kind of citrus fragrance I enjoy for summer.

  • Perfumeslushin

It’s very youthful; from the moment you apply it, you feel an ever-present mandarin. The perfume isn’t bad, I quite like it, and when I bought it I was in love, but after a month and a half I stopped enjoying it as much due to its longevity. I get 4-5 hours at best, but the projection is quite good; I’ve received many compliments. It’s not for parties or everyday wear; I see it as suitable for a beach day or a hot, sunny day, as smelling like this will make you reach for the perfume.

  • From the first spray, it’s an incredibly refreshing, clean citrus with ginger notes that give it a particular kick. Perfect for summer, especially daytime wear. While the longevity isn’t particularly high, as is often the case with citrus scents, it’s excellent value for the price. I was genuinely surprised by the number of compliments I received for wearing it.

  • After wearing it for nearly a year, I can say yes, maceration has helped with the longevity and aromatic quality. However, today (perhaps I’m ruining it for some) I detected a hamster sawdust note, haha.

  • Too fruity and fresh. While fresh perfumes don’t usually drive me wild, I value this one highly. Its major drawback is longevity, lasting only two to three hours. The profile is rich; anyone who claims it’s not because they know it’s Maison Alhambra and act difficult by stating they only like expensive scents will change their tune if you apply it to a blotter or tissue (warning: if you dislike mandarin or orange, this won’t appeal to you, which significantly lowers my rating for it). Nevertheless, I appreciate it. It would be a 9.3/10 if it lasted longer (as it currently lasts almost nothing), but overall, I’d rate it a 7.3/10.

  • Anyone saying it smells like a citrus air freshener isn’t entirely wrong, but the real magic begins once that note fades after five minutes. Undeclared black pepper and ginger emerge to give it a distinctly masculine edge, and as it dries, these spicy notes blend with a non-sweet amber base that makes it utterly delicious. In its dry-down, it demands nothing of the original ADG nor its price tag. Excellent for those in their thirties or forties for the office: it earns compliments and sits at the perfect distance, neither intrusive nor skin-scented. If you liked Perry Ellis RED, this is the improved version at the same price; the PE lacks both quality and complexity. Thanks to its dry-down, it’s one of my daily favourites, so don’t be fooled by the opening.
