About Kredo (Кредо)
Dzintars Kredo: A Full-Bodied Classic Floral from 1981
Kredo (Кредо) by Dzintars is a floral fragrance for women introduced in 1981. It was composed by Antonina Vitkovskaya, Victoria Ryabko and Liesma Oše (Prūse).
With a score of 4.56 out of 5 from 186 ratings, it presents as a traditional, generous floral moving from green freshness to woods.
At the top are bergamot, rose, lily of the valley, violet, violet leaves and blackcurrant buds. The impression is crisp and green, with a favourite powdery violet note and a faint fruity lift.
The heart features ylang-ylang, jasmine, carnation and tuberose. Jasmine and tuberose feel creamy and enveloping, while carnation lends a soft spiced character.
The dry-down relies on woody notes, sandalwood and resins. Sandalwood smooths the bouquet and the resins bring cosy warmth and persistence.
The given accords — woody, white floral, floral, yellow floral, warm spicy, powdery, amber, citrus, roses and balsamic — sum up that development, from fresh powder to a mellow, rounded floral.
It will suit devotees of classic, opulent florals who favour rose, jasmine and tuberose over a gentle base of sandalwood and resin.
Kredo remains a legible 1981 floral: rich in blossom, neatly structured and settled on wood and resin.
