Kriska Drama by Natura is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by Verônica Kato and Natasha Côté. The top notes unfold with red fruits, nectarine, pear, apple and mandarin; the heart reveals praliné, jasmine, white flowers and peony; while the base notes settle with patchouli, caramel, vanilla, tonka bean, amber, sandalwood, cedar and musk.

Fascinating and seductive this combination of nuts and candied almonds, mystical patchouli and suggestive vanilla. Ideal for temperate to cold climates due to the tonka bean, amber and cedar. It awakens compliments from men. I do feel a strong familiarity with Mugler’s Angel with those almonds and sweet patchouli, without becoming cloying or gourmand. Although I find something oriental in Kriska Drama. Important to try before buying, as from what I’ve read it delights or disappoints, leaving no one indifferent. On my pH it has good trail and longevity.

The fragrance is rich; the only thing I’d take away is that mentholated note; they should reformulate it. The dry down is very delicious.

  • I adore this perfume; those warm and caramelised notes are exquisite. But it neither lasts nor projects practically anything. Is there anything similar that lasts longer?

  • Kriska Drama is a proper amber vanilla; that’s why it disgusts as much as it delights. The vanilla is oriental, not gourmand, and it’s an adult perfume, slightly camphoraceous. It has a sweet and fresh opening that lasts seconds, followed by a marked patchouli, similar to that in Mugler’s Angel EDT, but never with the same intensity or longevity; here it lasts mere minutes. Afterwards, the fragrance fades and projection drops. In my case, performance was 3-4 hours with a light trail, almost skin scent. Overall, I perceive it as subtle, caramelised, like cherry mints; it’s not overwhelming, but pleasant for everyday wear. Of what I’ve tried, this is the most ‘adult’, considering Kriska is a youthful line. Although I speak of regular performance (logical for a body spray), I must say that whenever I wear it, people compliment a ‘sweet fruity’ perfume. It reminded me slightly of Natura’s Luna Rubí, which would be the mature version of Kriska Drama obtained by raising the spicy accord and lowering the fruity one. Who will like it: lovers of patchouli.

  • I don’t recommend buying it blindly, as there are people who love it and others who hate it. Unfortunately, I don’t like it. Especially in the opening, which I feel is bitter (very woody, strong patchouli presence, even slightly spicy-mentholated). It has a moderate trail, projects for an hour, and lasts 6 hours on the skin. After two hours, that bitter wood softens and timidly the vanilla, tonka bean and musk appear; patchouli is also felt from the start. I don’t sense any fruits or red berries, nor flowers. The only moment I enjoy is after four hours, when a softly musky and vanilla scent remains on the skin, something sweet but not excessive. It doesn’t seem feminine or delicate to me, only acceptable in autumn or winter. I’d give the scent a 4/10; I don’t like it but I can use it (especially mixed). I understand others may adore it, but I repeat: it’s not for blind buying, and I do regret it. Edit: I removed it from my collection because I couldn’t stand it.

  • It reminds me of Poison Girl EDP but from a great distance, a distant relative where there’s barely a reminiscence of that sweet, bitter, vanilla and spicy play. Here, it felt somewhat masculine to me, I think it’s unisex, spicy with character. I found it more interesting than Shock, but neither of them is for me.

  • I bought it blindly because people either love it or hate it. Fortunately, I loved it. Although I wear it in summer, it has a fresh opening, almost mentholated, which I adore, before settling into a sweet scent, like caramelised almonds, without being intrusive, very subtle. I recommend it.

A lovely almond scent that opens with a mentholated note, but that menthol fades very quickly.

  • fauxbeatpoet

I absolutely love it! It has nothing to do with Angel, nor does it even resemble it. It’s better than Arrasa, which is in my top 5 from Natura. Kriska Drama makes me feel happy. The trail is brilliant and it lasts about 5-6 hours on my skin. So delicious!

  • Delicious, very similar to Mugler’s Angel. It’s for evening wear because it’s intense. The patchouli gives a minty opening that then softens, leaving the concentrated notes. I liked it, although I expected something sweeter. Don’t buy it blind.

  • lunattyca

Everyone reviews according to their taste. Not all of us have a trained nose to distinguish sensations. Opinions from people with little clarity are interesting because they give a generalised view. If someone who knows nothing about notes reads that ‘it opens with spiced patchouli that resonates in the nasal cavity’, they’ll have no idea if they buy it blind.

  • April_ethereal

Kriska Drama smells strongly of patchouli; it’s like a low-cost version of Mugler’s Angel. On my skin, it smells like a jar of honey with lots of patchouli; I liked it very much. If you hate patchouli, don’t buy it.

  • Opens as they say: minty, camphoraceous, herbal (patchouli). Within minutes the mint yields to sweet fruits with that herbal patchouli. When dry, it’s a caramelised nut. I don’t detect florals, but rather tonka bean, caramel, vanilla, praline and fruits that cut through the sweetness. I see no resemblance to Mugler’s Angel.

  • It’s odd; I don’t use it, but every time I try it (it’s my mum’s), I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It smells of pure patchouli and caramelised almonds. I think the patchouli is the addictive part, especially at the beginning when it feels super minty and gives me a physical chill. Perhaps in time I’ll end up falling in love with it.

  • I didn’t like it. It reminds me of Ciel Noir with that minty patchouli note at the start. At certain times, that sweet talcum-like aspect stands out, but it’s very synthetic. It feels better on clothes and is more acceptable, but I wouldn’t wear it.

  • I first heard of it at university from my professor; walking behind him, I waited for the scent to reach me, which to me smells like puffed sweets or minted caramel. One day I asked what he was wearing and was surprised to hear it was from Natura. I bought it, but on my skin it lacks the same charm; if you over-spray, it becomes overwhelming. I use it to go out dancing in winter; I don’t spend on expensive perfumes if I’m then going to smell of cigarettes. It’s good, but it depends on your skin’s pH.

  • SweetCarolein

It projects strongly as alcohol and on my skin smells of milky peach which, within minutes, turns creamy and caramel-like. The trail is low and the longevity is poor.

  • Perfumadict

Not entirely my usual style, but I keep it to break the routine. Only for days below 22°C; as it dries, it smells exactly like the Angel EDT. It shares the same DNA as Kriska Delirio thanks to those sweet puffed sweets and vanilla, but this one wins on quality and sophistication thanks to the patchouli and red berries. The camphoraceous note everyone talks about is tolerable and addictive, though it lasts a mere 20 seconds.

  • Perfume_addict

Very rich, cheap and long-lasting. Highly recommended. The fragrance is super sweet. Although it declares a fruity and sweet opening with a floral heart, the patchouli is present throughout the development. It’s not my favourite note, but once it dries well it’s caramel and vanilla. It’s not for daily wear; it has presence and people around will notice it, I would use it for special events. I love this perfume 💕

  • cherrylady

My favourite Kriska. The famous patchouli that awakens love and hate… for me it’s a resounding YES. A minty but sweet scent that generates addiction; I think the sweet notes are well balanced with the musky and woody ones. I don’t perceive the fruity notes much. Many say it’s very strong and gives headaches; I don’t think it’s that strong, but it is intense, dark and mature. You shouldn’t over-spray. It deserves to be worn obligatorily in autumn/winter and at night, but for those who dare, why not also during the day? I think the name DRAMA fits it perfectly. PS: it doesn’t resemble the Mugler Angel at all as I’ve read… there’s nothing like the Angel.

I’m already on the third bottle, it’s one of those that can’t be missing; if they discontinue it, I’ll die. I’m not fascinated by Natura because I feel they all smell similar, but this is madness. Excessively sweet, as if you poured a jar of honey all over yourself, though it’s not for everyone; if it had good longevity it would be hard to wear. Good price, in Argentina Natura is accessible although not cheap either. Intermediate longevity, you have to reapply, it doesn’t have a good trail, but for the price it’s very good. The smell seems strange to me, I have perfumes of better quality, but it’s very addictive. I would rate it for going out at night, sensual.

  • I loved this perfume! I brought it home today to combine it with its Body Mist, which they gave me a month ago and I promised myself to buy it if I found it in those crazy offers I usually have in my country. That’s how it was, I found it and today I went to get it. I love it: it is sweet but not overpowering. I don’t feel the minty or patchouli note that everyone mentions; just a blend of all the sweet notes, as if I felt the base notes: praline, vanilla, ambroxan. Perhaps the red fruits are felt at the beginning. Every nose is a world; I read the reviews and was afraid to feel too much patchouli, which everyone says guarantees longevity. As for that… nothing. It’s the first day I used it. I will use it at night to see if it persists until tomorrow, but I don’t think so. I can smell it on me but very softly; I applied quite a bit and recently, when smelling my wrist, it is barely perceptible. It’s a total pity. Perhaps that’s why it was on offer. As for persistence, nothing. I’m sorry because it’s an exquisite, addictive scent. However, in this first test I felt nothing of persistence or trail. I think even the body mist lasts longer. As I always do, I will give it another opportunity to see what happens.

It’s a nice scent but not for buying blind. You can feel the patchouli which at first seemed very strong; after a few minutes I started to notice a caramelised and spiced aroma. Fortunately I like it. I bought it blind and thought it wasn’t for me, but as time passes on my skin I feel it very pleasant. I will use it on cool nights, commitments or winter.

  • Mint and red fruits. They gave it to me for my birthday, I was happy because I had one of Natura’s. Disappointment because the opening is quite unpleasant: mint, mint, mint, with an artificial tinge of red fruits. I wouldn’t buy it, I use it because it was a gift. Thanks anyway. I feel Natura is going down in quality; I have several in use and I don’t know if I will buy them again. It hurts that the fragrance and trail last so little. It’s like you have to reapply quite a bit, shortening the longevity (more consumption by replicating) and it’s not cheap, except with discounts like I got. It’s rich but it’s annoying that they last so little.

  • It is my favourite Kriska so far: a sweet, caramelised, intense and woody scent. It smells like a rebellious, enigmatic woman with great class, for a true femme fatale. Exquisite.

  • Minty opening with red fruits; over time the mint disappears and caramel appears. At first it didn’t last on me, I let it macerate and it transformed. It is sexy, distinctive and I like it. Moderate trail and longevity.

  • This was my first Kriska and undoubtedly my favourite. It is complex: a deep, pulpy fruity opening, but it doesn’t last long because what stands out most are the toasted nuts, sweet praline, and a mysterious, nocturnal vanilla with patchouli. Although it’s a youthful line, it is intense, elegant and nocturnal. It’s the most interesting one in the line for me; I will keep it in my collection for a long time. Its longevity is very good, EDP performance.

  • I noticed this scent changes radically depending on the skin. On me, the patchouli dominates, though it doesn’t lose its sweet notes; it smells of strong mint with toasted almonds, without perceiving the florals. It’s a rare blend, not really my style, but I enjoyed it last autumn for work. I stopped using it because the cap loosened and the perfume was escaping. It lasts a few hours on the skin but lingers on clothes for days with a strong trail, ideal for not going unnoticed. Don’t buy it blind; I recommend trying it if you’re looking for something different and accessible. Perfect for autumn and winter. Edit: I tried the Angel and the Kriska; they are worlds apart. The Kriska is more feminine and sweet, while the Angel smells of horrible herbal grass.

  • rosalindaelena

It reminds me of Angel in some notes, but it doesn’t last long on the skin. If I apply it to clothes, that’s when it works, lasting several hours.

  • Catalina Rojas

It’s a good fragrance. At first, I didn’t like the opening. Over time, I noticed more of its notes, as initially I only felt the overwhelming sweetness of the caramel, but later many notes emerged, making it a true treat, even chocolatey. I’d rate it 7/10; I wouldn’t buy it again solely for how sweet it was at first, but I definitely enjoyed it. The trail was very strong at the start, though it soon moderates and leaves a spectacular scent for the price.

  • I expected more from Kriska Drama; to me, it smells of talc-coated plastic. I went along with YouTube recommendations, but I remain loyal to the brand and plan to give it more chances.

  • Beca Jmnz99

It was a blind buy looking for Kriska Romance, but it was out of stock in my city and this was the only one left. I regret it as it smells too much of menthol; no wonder, I let it macerate to see if it changed, but the scent remains the same. I think it suits a 50-year-old lady well.

  • The notes 🤌🏻🤌🏻… It doesn’t smell like a gourmand dessert as one might expect, but rather gives a mature, vintage feel thanks to the cuts. 🧓

  • Malena denise

It smells of caramel with lots of patchouli; it was strange at first. I bought it blindly and didn’t like it, but after wearing it for several days, I started to love it. Now I really do sense the caramel.

  • Luismiguel5

It was one of my first perfumes; I bought it because I smelled it on someone and loved it. Beyond the notes, I don’t sense anything citrusy; it smells more gourmand, like bitter chocolate with caramel. They say it’s vintage, but at 25, I adore it. It makes me feel elegant without being rough. I wear it day and night in winter, only changing the number of sprays (more at night). I bought it with its matching cream and it lasted incredibly long—days on clothes and about eight hours on skin.

  • I bought it with high hopes but was let down. Based on the notes, I expected something sweet, almost fruity, but it’s nothing like that. The patchouli is extremely strong and drowns out everything else.

  • Finally tried it in a store, and honestly, it’s not my cup of tea. I think it’s better for going out or events as it’s very potent. The caramel and woody notes overpower everything; it’s not my style, but if you like strong scents with those notes, I’d recommend it.

  • Steer clear of my mistake and don’t buy this blindly. It smells odd, the blend is complicated, and on my skin it reeked of sweat.
