Kriska Shock by Natura

What a lovely scent! It’s a blend of caramel and vanilla with a citrusy touch from the raspberry. It lasts incredibly long on my skin, over seven hours, and on clothes until I wash them.

To be honest, it smells like Lattafa’s Yara but much softer and creamier. If you like sweet perfumes, this is the one for you. The trail is light and the longevity isn’t quite as good.

It smells of caramel or a mix with popcorn. It’s rich and feels fresh, but in a closed room it can become heavy.

It smells nice, a little sweet and slightly fruity but doesn’t feel synthetic. It’s very cheerful and joyful. Some reviews say it doesn’t last, but in my case it’s different; I wore it during the day and could still smell it the next morning. The only downside is that it projects little.

I adore its aroma; it’s sweet without being cloying. For an EDT, it lasts and projects quite a bit on my skin, although I’d like it to do even more given how delicious it smells.

I tried it for my niece and instantly fell in love. Without a second thought, I bought it myself. The only thing I wish is that it lasted longer; it would be perfect if it didn’t fade so quickly.

Soft, gourmand and sweet, it reminds me of Pink Sugar but without the burnt caramel; it’s fruitier, younger and more summery. The longevity is poor, but it’s delicious as an after-bath body splash.

I bought it to complete my collection and I have no regrets. It has a youthful DNA, but not in a negative way; for me, it’s red fruits with vanilla cotton candy. I like it; it’s simple and not cloying, although when using stronger fragrances, I understand why some might not like it. I recommend it to Ariana Grande fans: it’s sweet, vanilla and sugary. For me, Natura perfumes always have quality; they don’t seem like childish EDTs; they have good longevity, mark on clothes and are great for layering.

The scent is a crude and sweetly repulsive mix. I first heard of it from a friend at university; I told her it smelled like a cake, I’m not a fan of anything cakey, but in her case it seemed sweet, childish and feminine. Over time, the smell constantly hit my nose, even in winter. It became so unpleasant that being near her was repulsive. Seeing it praised online as cotton candy, I questioned whether it was my perception or her pH. I asked her to try it so I could buy a similar one for my sister. She confirmed she didn’t like it: the pepper and acidic fruits transformed the sweetness into something sour. It’s a sweetness overshadowed by a stinging note that irritates, probably the pepper, strong from start to finish. I thought the acidity would fade, but it didn’t. I wouldn’t recommend it for any season: although it’s so sweet it seems like a winter scent, the smell is so ugly that even then it feels heavy; in summer, with heavy scents, it’s impossible. The only good thing is the trail and fixation: the unpleasant smell accompanied me the whole time. The packaging is pretty and feminine, so if you’re looking for something aesthetically pleasing, it might fit. But the hype doesn’t justify the unattractive synthetic sweetness; don’t recommend it if you’re looking for something sweet and pleasant, you’ll find something sweet but sour-bitter that overshadows everything.

It smells synthetic and super sweet, but what more could you want? I adore it; it’s addictive. It transports me to a giant cotton candy cloud, as if Fergie’s ‘Fergalicious’ video had a scent: sweet yet sexy and bold. I love it.

I don’t dislike it, but I don’t love it either. I bought it blindly, a big mistake. It’s sweet, but only noticeable close to the skin. It doesn’t have good projection. Still, I try to grow fond of it. I think my perception is because I’m looking for something that projects everywhere; with Kriska Shock, it’s much more subtle. It’s not a loud scent; in fact, I bought the Kriska Shock deodorant, which ironically has better projection. It’s really not my favourite perfume, but it is sweet, intimate and pretty.

It smells like sweets, like a jungle stick. It’s rich, sweet and cloying, making you want to eat it. I love perfumes like this and it’s one of my favourites. The pepper is noticeable and cuts through the sweetness, giving it a different touch. I love it.

One of the few gourmands I enjoy. Sweet, charming and very youthful. I don’t like the opening with the red pepper (it seemed terrible the first time), but the dry-down is brilliant: it smells like cotton candy, vanilla and toffee, like a little dessert. If you’re looking to be elegant and mysterious, this isn’t for you; it’s more fun. Unlike others, on my skin it lasts about six hours with a good trail. I recommend it for cold weather; in heat, it can be uncomfortable due to the sweetness.

I loved it; what a unique scent. Usually, I don’t like spicy notes, but this one is perfect; it makes me want to eat the perfume if only it were possible.
