About Kuchinashi
Kuchinashi: A Woody Oriental from Elixir Attar
Kuchinashi is the new woody oriental from Elixir Attar, created for men and women alike. The fragrance launches in 2026, with perfumer Ahmed Mostafa behind the composition.
It opens with a burst of spice and light, moves into a heart of roses and white florals, then rests on a warm base of incense, wood, and resin.
Top notes of fenugreek, bergamot, saffron, anise, and dates set a warm, mildly sweet tone, with just enough spice to keep things interesting.
The heart joins Bulgarian rose, May rose, and Taif rose with gardenia, jasmine, incense, smoke, rose, and musk. This is where the scent feels most luxurious, layering petals against a smoky backdrop.
At the base, incense, sandalwood, patchouli, oud, benzoin, vetiver, resins, and musk provide a deep, balsamic anchor. The drydown is long-lasting and quietly commanding.
Accords such as amber, woody, warm spicy, white floral, roses, fresh spicy, smoky, balsamic, sweet, and powdery describe its many facets. It shifts from radiant top notes to a denser, more contemplative finish.
Gardenia brings a creamy, almost velvety texture to the floral heart, while the blend of roses adds refinement. Kuchinashi is a complex oriental that rewards patience and close attention.
It will suit perfume lovers who enjoy dramatic woody orientals, abundant rose notes, and smoky, resinous drydowns.
Kuchinashi is an opulent, enveloping fragrance for anyone seeking a scent with depth and presence, moving from bright spice to a warm, incense-infused close.
