I’ve tried both the EDT and the EDP, but I like the EDT much more; in the EDP, a strong and annoying coconut stands out, whereas here I perceive a soft, sweet lemon, ideal for warm days. It doesn’t last long, but since I saw it on offer in a large size, I’ll buy it as soon as I get paid and take advantage of using it before summer ends.
A soft, feminine, light, and pretty fragrance that suits hot morning temperatures very well. At 10 am with around 35°C, it’s the kind of scent that is appreciated. It also works well to recreate the feeling of being in a sunny courtyard garden. The opening is a sweet citrus with a hint of petit grain, then sandalwood and soft, powdery white floral notes; rather than a creamy jasmine, it gives the sensation of a tiare flower. The dry-down is a soft, sweet but fresh cloud, very pleasant. I like it, although unfortunately its longevity is a maximum of two or three hours close to the skin. In its concept, jasmine (or tiare) plus citrus for summer, it has a competitor in Versace Vanitas with better longevity, but I prefer the scent of this one. If I had it, I’d see myself with a travel spray in my bag to re-apply.
If JL Glow and Calvin Klein In2U for Her had a child, this would undoubtedly be it. It’s a citrusy, light version of Glow. From Glow, it has the body cream note and a touch of rose; from In2U, it takes the citrus, which are far from fresh but fine, like homemade lemon drops. After a few hours close to the skin, it smells like makeup. I haven’t tried the EDP, but if it contains coconut, I think it would lose its charm and seem like an intensive tan oil. It feels very summery and light; I’ll use it on those sunny days out in the city, as neither scent will clash.
I love this scent; it smells of sweet, soft coconut. I wear it at night when it’s more noticeable. Unfortunately, its longevity and trail are terrible.
I absolutely love this scent; it’s a sweet, soft coconut. I wear it at night when it comes out more, but the longevity and sillage are a disaster.
The scent is wonderful; it’s one of the best-smelling fragrances in my collection. However, like other reviews, it has very little projection and its longevity is short. It’s a pity because it smells good—it’s citrusy, floral, and fresh. It reminds me of Gabrielle, perhaps less intense than that one.
I own all five perfumes in the Elle l’Aime line to compare. This is the second freshest, with incredibly rich fruity notes. The trail is low (depending on how much you apply); you don’t leave a mark walking by, but if you put it on your clothes, you can smell it with every movement—it’s a wonder. It’s a comfortable EDT for the heat and suits all ages, from teenagers to older ladies. On skin, it doesn’t last long, but on clothes until the next day, it sticks like nothing else. Recommended: a good perfume for hot weather, cheerful and sparkling. The only downside is the price nowadays; it’s discontinued like 90% of Lolita Lempicka’s perfumes, and speculators are taking advantage. If you find it cheap (under £40), don’t hesitate; go for it if you like fresh, very fruity perfumes.
I bought this in a pack with Elle l’Aime from the same brand. It lasts a good 4-5 hours with a soft but noticeable trail. The scent doesn’t stand out; I use it for sleeping or when I have to look after my friend’s twins, who enjoy it more than I do. l’Aime is clean, light, and a floral-fruit blend without specific notes, ideal for the office. For some reason, it reminds me of Dior’s Joy. Pleasant: 6/10 Interesting: 2/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 3/10
