I’ll talk about my experience, I don’t have the first batch, I bought 3 years ago the batch with grey cap with a sticker that says stud, fearing the rumours that the liquid was the common one and no, it was the correct one, what they reused was the bottle of the other. The opening is a bit annoying because it’s a sharp citrus, but after that it’s delicious, in fact every time I use it people ask me what it is and they praise it, I never smelled that supposed altered batch and I don’t know how it smells today, but there are testers everywhere, that’s the good thing about Cannon, try it and don’t blindly follow reviews that say it’s bad.
Perfume that I don’t know whether to review for the scent it was, or for the one they sell now. Currently it’s one of the most HORRIBLE perfumes that anyone can buy in Argentina. A pleasant and citrusy opening, clearly inspired by Bleu de Chanel, begins to slowly dry down into one of the most unpleasant aromatic combinations a person can smell; the result being something halfway between cockroach poison and furniture polish. No one knows what happened in Cannon’s laboratories, but they should review what they’re producing or take this perfume off the market, out of respect for their long-standing customers.
The supposed clone of Bleu de Chanel EDT. With a lot of controversy in Argentina because there’s also a version without the STUD designation and it seems that given the high demand they started selling one for the other (like saying cat for hare), which made people doubt whether it was a bad reformulation or a bad batch. I think that as of today (May 2026) La Dolfina Stud is still that clone of Bleu de Chanel EDT that made it so famous. (I clarify that I have one of the first batches)
