Descripción

L'Acquarossa by Fendi is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, this composition was created by Delphine Lebeau, Benoist Lapouza and François Demachy. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with Sicilian mandarin, Calabrian bergamot and prune in the top notes; the heart reveals a harmony of rose, lantana, magnolia and orange blossom; while the base settles on musk, red cedar and patchouli.

  • Lovely perfume, I appreciate it now that the weather is less cold. It’s soft, effervescent and clean. At first, I smell lots of mandarin and juice, followed by rose and magnolia. Once it settles, I notice a citrus-floral note, probably lantana; it’s a different kind of citrus floral. Sometimes it feels woody and the roses seem diluted in water. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed it. Moderate projection, leaning towards soft. I’ll update you on the longevity soon.

  • Rich, fresh and floral with intense pink rose and mandarin dominating the opening. Then the rose gives way to magnolia, which smells citrusy to me, finishing with a sweet and woody dry down. I gifted it to my mother a few months ago and it suits her skin perfectly. It’s very feminine and youthful, yet with an elegant and distinguished touch. The longevity is moderate and the sillage is moderate.

  • Delicious, fresh and floral scent. There’s a strong pink rose and mandarin notes, then the rose gives way to magnolia (which smells citrusy to me), finishing with a sweet woody trail. I gifted it to my mum and it suits her skin perfectly. Very feminine and youthful, yet with an elegant, distinguished touch. Average longevity with moderate sillage.

  • I’ve detected primarily rose, soft magnolia, and other flowers, bergamot, and a woody-musky touch. It’s a fresh, elegant floral that doesn’t smell cheap, but in my opinion, it falls a bit short. It has left me indifferent.

  • It’s adorable and incredibly delicate, a pity it doesn’t last long. It smells fresh of rose, citrus, and cedar. I bought a gift set with gel and cream; the packaging is stunning, minimalist, with a metallic gold base and elegant colours. The body is compact, not translucent. It exudes Italian elegance.

  • I’ve just acquired it; it’s a beautiful floral creation. Rose and magnolia dominate, with citrus notes present. In my opinion, it can be worn at any time of day and throughout the year. I love it.

  • L’Acquarossa by Fendi is an exquisite, sophisticated and very feminine fragrance. I found something truly rich, yet not cloying or annoying to anyone. I tested it alongside several other perfumes and ended up taking the card it came in, which now smells wonderful where I keep it. That day I tried around ten perfumes (something I won’t repeat as the scents don’t register well anymore); I got confused and asked for another one to be given to me, the DOT by M. Jacobs, which has nothing to do with it… ahaha. Then I thought: how strange, it didn’t smell the same. Three months later I returned to the perfumery, wanted something by Fendi and was recommended this. Yes! It was the one from the book. Without a doubt, the olfactory memory never forgets a good perfume. It is rich, perfect for a confident, self-assured woman who works with enthusiasm and likes to feel sophisticated even if her appearance isn’t all that. The flowers develop beautifully, especially the roses, orange blossom and magnolia. I think the distinguished touch comes from the base notes: musk and Japanese red cedar. I don’t detect the patchouli. I highly recommend it for women aged 30 and above, though an independent woman in her twenties could wear it too. Moderate trail, long-lasting: about eight hours on skin and over 24 on clothes. I use it occasionally for work, it suits both indoor and outdoor settings. It can also be worn for special outings in cold weather.

  • L’Acquarossa by Fendi is exquisite, sophisticated, and truly feminine. It’s a rich scent, not cloying at all. I stumbled upon it by accident while testing several perfumes and confusing it with M. Jacobs’ DOT, but my olfactory memory never fails. It’s for a confident, enthusiastic woman who feels sophisticated without trying too hard. The flowers, especially the rose, orange blossom, and magnolia, develop beautifully. The base of musk and Japanese red cedar gives it a distinguished touch. I don’t detect any patchouli. I highly recommend it for women over 30, or independent women in their twenties. Moderate sillage, long-lasting (8 hours on skin, longer on clothes). Suitable for work, indoor or outdoor settings, and outings in cooler weather.

  • October 2016: Fendi’s L’Acquarossa lives up to its name; it’s like a fresh rose floral water. Citrus and plum add a fruity touch, nothing powdery. The soft patchouli base gives it a chypre vibe, although it’s an oriental floral. Barely sweet, ideal for spring and summer, or for elegant evening outings. It’s versatile, light, and a refreshing change from the heavy perfumes currently on the market. I love it for its beautiful composition. The red bottle with gold accents is gorgeous. Highly recommended.

  • Very marked floral accent, elegant and distinguished. I perceive red roses, intense and velvety with a green hint that is smelled at the 3-minute mark and lasts in the floral phase. The opening notes are delicious and vital. As time passes, the fragrance settles on the skin without much dynamism, it’s more static, somewhat acidic, perhaps it lacks (in my taste) warmth to be more balanced. It’s very distinguished but distant, a high-quality fragrance that clothes and leaves a trail. It doesn’t seem youthful to me; on the contrary, it’s something retro, alluding to fine rose waters by maceration of petals or old glycerine ointments from renowned pharmacies that my grandmother used. A delicate perfume with presence and character. I use it combining it with Envy me EDP to make it more fruity and with Very Irresistible EDT to add star anise, achieving a less structured fragrance in a rose heart.

  • VainillaDulce

To me, L’Acquarossa embodies femininity. It’s a creamy fruity floral scent; I wouldn’t classify it as an oriental floral. The opening is very citrusy, dominated by mandarin, while the rose takes centre stage. Without the mandarin, it wouldn’t be the same. It’s rich, striking and different from most rose perfumes as it lacks vanilla or woods. Suitable for any season and time of day, with good sillage and longevity. Rating 9/10.

  • VainillaDulce

To me, L’Acquarossa embodies femininity. It’s a delicious floral, fruity, and creamy aroma; I wouldn’t classify it as floral oriental. The opening is very citrusy, mandarin predominating, although the rose is the protagonist. Without the mandarin, it wouldn’t be the same. This rich perfume sums up in those two notes and that mixture makes it very striking. It’s one of the few that doesn’t have vanilla or woods; it’s a rose perfume with a structure very different from most. To use in any season and at any time, it has a good trail and longevity. Rating 9/10.

  • I’ve smelled and tested it every time I could, as the perfumer gave me several samples when I bought Fan di Fendi Extreme (big mistake, I can’t use it, it overwhelms me). It enchants me as on the first day… however, I didn’t buy it because on my skin it lasts at most 15 minutes, although it seems incredible. There’s no point; I can’t smell it for more than that time and it makes me very sad to check it over and over again because I’m fascinated by its scent but I don’t want to spend on something I can’t smell.

  • Sharlette

It’s a high-category aroma, elegant and distinct, of good quality that clothes and leaves a trail. It smells like fresh and creamy rose, it’s delicate but with presence and character. At first it feels a bit strong, but in seconds it lowers its guard and becomes very romantic. Its longevity is good and its trail is huge.

  • First of all, the bottle: symmetrical lines, rectangular shape, red and gold. To me, it seems feminine because it’s elegant, concrete, and has a halo of mystery. At the first spray I feel the rose and the lantana, the citrusy and fresh sweetness of the lemon, the plum passes, and finally the patchouli, almost neutral but which gives an invisible power to the perfume. I feel it spiced, with fleeting Indian aromas. Totally sophisticated: the rose elevates it, the patchouli and sandalwood surround it. I imagine a woman with dark hair dressed in red with golden eyes.

  • It’s catching my attention so much that I’m thinking of buying it, but I need to smell it on my skin a bit more. As I use it, I like it more. It’s juicy, elegant (which is normal for Fendi), well-rounded, and smells elegant. I don’t detect the rose, which I don’t like much and smells like old cinema halls to me, but I do smell the magnolia, the musk, and the orange blossom well. The musk gives it a woody and deep air where everything settles nicely. It opens very juicy and then becomes warm. I also don’t notice the patchouli, I don’t know. I like it, for now. It attracts me, with reservations.

  • Finally, I fell into its arms. I like it a lot. I don’t recommend it for anyone to smell exactly like me, hehehe. I love this perfume, I never get tired of it.

  • marilaus84

I define it as: an intense aroma of fresh, young roses, with lots of green. That green note is the combination of bergamot, citrus, and musk. I love it so much. On humid days I have to apply a little to avoid getting a headache. I don’t understand why it doesn’t match the bottle; it doesn’t remind me of red, but rather of leather and the formality of a Fendi wallet. It’s super sophisticated. If you like rose but not the classic kind, this is a great option. Lasts a long time.

  • Perla Vencis

What a beauty! It’s a bottle of passionate red and seduction. Fortunately, at first the citrus notes overpower the plum, which I don’t like. Then comes the magic: a ripe red rose with gardenias competing equally with the lantana. What a combination with the magnolia and the lantana leaves. To finish, Japanese red cedar and patchouli. In summary: a splendid rose with a fine, woody dry-down. I think it’s versatile for any season. I bought it in 10 ml, but I’m already ordering the large bottle, which is also very pretty.

  • Ojos Claros

Nothing of that typical innocent pink here. It doesn’t smell like Mon Paris or Good Girl Blush. There’s a dark touch that blends with the youthful flowers, something rare and fascinating. Sometimes it comes out more mysterious, other times more elegant. If I had to find a relative, it would be Hermès Galop but much softer and more distant. It shares vanilla, musk, rose, jasmine, mandarin, and incense with Kenzo Flower, but the rest of the notes make it unique; it’s not as powdery as the original.
