First impression: What a wonder! It fulfills its name 100%. It is a complete gourmand fragrance, almost savoury: hazelnuts or nuts with chocolate, creamy but with that crunchiness sensation of the nuts. I was afraid of the toasted note due to previous experiences with other perfumes, but here I do not notice it, nor the cookie dough nor the salt; perhaps my nose is not trained enough, but I enjoy every breath. It is not a bomb; it is noticeable well for two hours, drops a bit more, and by the fifth hour it has faded, so it is time to reapply. I bought it blind in a moment of madness and I am super happy.
First impression: Spectacular! It fulfills its name 100% (how could it not?). It is a complete gourmand fragrance, almost savoury, with hazelnuts or nuts and chocolate, creamy but with that crunchiness sensation of the nuts, I love it! I was afraid of the toasted note because in Theodoros Kalotinis’ Coffee Addict it is very present and took the taste away from me, but here I do not notice it, nor the cookie dough nor the salt, perhaps my nose is not trained enough, but I enjoy every breath of this precious perfume. It is not a bomb, but for two hours it is easy to notice, then it drops a couple of hours more and by the fifth it has faded; I need to reapply. I love the aroma, I bought it blind in a moment of madness and I could not be happier.
Good morning from Spain, 6th January at 10:56. Finally, I have opened Le Gourmand and Spicy Pumpkin Marshmallow to revive the illusion of opening the Three Kings’ gifts when I was a child. I have promised myself not to buy any more until I run out of what I have, because my wardrobe smells of guilt from accumulating so much. If you like gourmands, this is brilliant: it explodes with Nocilla-style chocolate, just as we used to eat it in the 80s inside a milk bun. After 30 minutes, that delight of spread on toast is still there; it is not cloying at all if you like the theme. The chocolate is 100% real; I am fascinated. Jousset Parfums should open bakeries all over the world; surely they would be loyal customers. It fulfills its name to the letter: Le Gourmand. A hug and good health 🥂🍫
It reflects the notes perfectly, smelling like a toast with chocolate and some kind of nut. I wanted to buy the bottle blind, but the best thing I could do was NOT to. The base from the first spray has a cleaner air (specifically Clorox): note, it does not smell like chlorine because it is gourmand; it literally smells like what it says, but there is a composition behind it that is not very pleasant and reminds me of Clorox, although it is very far back (you will not be smelling chlorine at all). I think it is the mix of the nut with the chocolate that creates that base. What happens is that I expected a more wearable and deep perfume; smelling exactly as the notes are, I do not consider it pleasant at all to wear on a person. It is a sensory experience, but NOT FOR WEARING because truly it is somewhat uncomfortable as a perfume. I would recommend other things before this if you are looking for a gourmand like me but a pleasant one.
I have tried more than 15 chocolate perfumes and found not a shred of charm in most; others were pleasant but did not meet my expectation that the hazelnut and that creamy touch (not dark or bitter) would be protagonists in all stages. This is SIMPLY INCREDIBLE and the most faithful to the declared notes I have tried. You feel exactly each note; it is the most realistic Nutella fragrance I have heard, from the butter to the hazelnut fruit. You simply love it or hate it, but if you are a gourmand perfume lover seeking creamy chocolate, something salty and very realistic, YOU NEED LE GOURMAND. After buying my decant and trying it for several days, the full bottle became a staple purchase. I love it.
I’ve tried over 15 chocolate perfumes and found none with a shred of charm; others were pleasant but failed to meet my expectation that hazelnut and that creamy, not dark, touch should always be the stars. This is simply incredible and the most faithful to its declared notes I’ve tried. You can smell every note; it’s the most realistic Nutella fragrance I’ve ever heard, from the butter to the hazelnut fruit. You simply love it or hate it, but if you’re into gourmand perfumes and seek a creamy chocolate, something salty and genuinely realistic, you NEED LE GOURMAND. I bought the decant, tested it for several days, and the big bottle was an instant buy. I love it.
It’s super photorealistic! It literally smells like Nutella and hazelnuts or those classic butter-filled croissants stuffed with this chocolate. I’ve absolutely loved it!

I am blown away! It is the most realistic hazelnut cream I have ever smelled. I cannot wait to buy it.

It smells exactly like Nutella, with those hazelnuts and nuts, totally photorealistic you can almost taste it; it’s impressive. When you apply this, it’s incredible; at that moment everything gets invaded by that chocolate scent. As an olfactory experience it’s 10/10, but for daily wear I can’t see myself smelling like Nutella; honestly, it’s for personal enjoyment at home.
It really does smell like Nutella, with hazelnuts and nuts so realistic it feels like you could eat it. Upon spraying, the whole place smells of chocolate; it is a ten-out-of-ten olfactory experience, although to be honest, I do not see myself wearing it out. Better to enjoy it at home.
It smells exactly like Nutella, nothing more, nothing less. It is a captivating aroma; people ask what you are wearing and lean in to smell it. The only downside is the longevity for the price, lasting about 6–7 hours, but that is enough to go out for a drink. I have worn it for several days; it is ideal for winter, designed to draw people close. Everyone loves Nutella, doesn’t they? Totally unisex. I am getting into smelling ‘edible’ scents; I already liked gourmands, but I have just levelled up. Special mention to the atomiser: a beautiful cloud that embraces you. It is so potent that I only use two sprays and enjoy it… I think this is the first time I want to keep wearing it without stopping. I bought it thanks to, let’s say, ‘a personal taste’ for this recognisable scent of someone close to me whom I like to ‘taste’ and who attracts me, so I wanted to please them. I can say it was a shrewd purchase. Expensive, yes, but for very special occasions where short distances make a difference. The box is one of the best in my collection.
I tested it in a Madrid perfumery, and as I took the train to leave the city, that rich chocolate sweetness kept me wrapped in its embrace. Le Gourmand by Jousset is a warm hug on rainy afternoons. It opens like a sigh of melted sugar, where vanilla curves over caramel and chocolate notes, turning the air into honey. In its base lies a childhood memory—freshly baked cookies, cocoa-stained fingers, a laugh escaping—but also a mature sensuality, an amber echo that wraps the skin as night falls. It is not just sweet; it is the slow gesture of someone offering tenderness in the middle of winter, a perfume that transforms the simplicity of pleasure into a ritual. With every stroke, Le Gourmand tells a story of desire and comfort, where the body becomes home and the scent, memory. I would not wear it as a standalone fragrance, but rather layer it with another sweet perfume, because the chocolate scent would overwhelm everything.
