  Review of the decant: It combines soft rose and jasmine to give a very light almond scent that is hard to identify on who you smell. Although it lasts more than eight hours on clothes and has a close bubble trail, I wouldn’t buy or recommend it because the light almond note leaves a ‘weird’ impression. Zero versatility.

  This is LOVE at first sight. One of my favourite almond scents: sweet and potent. It has a very marked citrus soul and the rose is present for almost the entire duration. The performance is brutal, it lasts forever, and it’s super easy to wear. Without a doubt, it goes straight to my wishlist. Scent: 10. Longevity: 10. Projection: 7. Originality: 10. Versatility: 8. Total: 10.

  From the very first spray, the scent leaves me perplexed: it’s impossible to categorise, as if it refuses to fit into any box. At first, citrus and sweet notes blend with a mysterious base in an enigmatic cloud you can’t quite grasp. After five minutes, it begins to reveal its soul: a slightly acidic almond wrapped in a subtle sweetness that defines its character. It’s as if every note dances in perfect choreography. By fifteen minutes, the lemon is still there but has intertwined with jasmine, creating an elegant, fresh floral heart. Shortly after, at the half-hour mark, a surprise note appears, one not declared on the official notes: a sweet, warm, playful licorice that completely changes the vibe. By an hour, the magic is pure tonka bean: rich, sweet, and seductive. I’ve never tasted tonka like this; it gives me an exotic sensation, like an olfactory journey to deep roots. By two o’clock, the sweetness intensifies, the tonka becomes almost gourmand, nearly vanilla-like (though it’s not listed, my nose detects it). It’s a perfume that leaves me speechless. By three o’clock, the sweetness reaches a fascinating peak. By four thirty, the trail fades, but the scent remains faithful: that sweet, warm, intimate tonka, the undisputed protagonist until twelve hours when it finally disappears from my skin. It is, without a doubt, the best tonka bean scent I have ever smelled.
