It starts off super citrusy before becoming very cosy; clean and I prefer it to the Acqua Universalis Forte from the same range. It’s not powerful, but it delivers occasional bursts of clean citrus mixed with florals and marine notes. After a while, it picks up an artificial touch that the Kurkdjian version doesn’t have, so although I liked it, I struggle to justify the price. It fades gradually over three hours while retaining that clean floral feel, though the citrus disappears and the liquid notes become more aquatic than marine; the musk hasn’t emerged yet. By two and a half hours, it’s harder to detect on the skin and stays there until the five-hour mark.
