(Leather Fever) by Zara is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2024, this olfactory composition was created by perfumer Amandine Galliano. If you like the aquatic-fruity style of Erba Pura (it’s not a clone, but family), you will love this. Less strident than the original, with that very marked pear. It performs among the best in the line, lasts well and projects. Imagine Erba Pura in green instead of blue. Forget the gossip that it smells like Ganimedes, that’s exaggeration. Ideal for special occasions, not for daily wear as it can become tiring. Unisex 50/50, although sold for men, it fits perfectly on women.
Fruity scent where the pear rules supreme. Sweet, rich and totally unisex.
Fruity notes with pear as the star, sweet and juicy. Suitable for anyone.
Imagine walking into Zara with the innocent intention of buying some trousers to not look so mortal, and leaving with Leather Fever. Yes, ‘Leather Fever’. And you think: this is exactly what I needed!. An essence that should smell of a roaring motorcycle, a worn jacket, and danger. But no. The first thing you smell is pear. Yes, Pear with a capital P. A pear that has taken acting lessons and steals the whole show. Let’s start with the name. ‘Leather Fever’. Let’s be honest, Zara. That leather is only ink on the box. You could spend hours smelling your arm and if the leather is there, it hides a lot (or my nose can’t find it). It’s as if the formula got lost and they compensated by loading the pear up to the eyebrows. The result: more than ‘Leather Fever’, we should call it ‘Pear Panic’. At first, pear (obviously), violet leaves and citrus. Although no one invited the citrus or they arrived late. The violet is there, a bit shy. In the heart, cedar, which sounds masculine, does the bare minimum so it doesn’t smell like a milkshake. The base is sandalwood, musk, and vetiver, which could give mystery but are busy figuring out what the pear is doing. Total unisex. If you share a bathroom with your partner, prepare for the bottle to disappear. But you console yourself: it’s from Zara, I didn’t spend £300. Here comes the strong point: unbeatable quality-price ratio. Zara gives you a decent perfume at a price that makes you wonder how they sell the rest. Compared with La Nuit Trésor by Lancôme, that pear is elegant, here it’s the rebellious rave cousin. Compared with Dior Homme Intense, the pear is sophisticated, here it runs barefoot in the supermarket. Still, it’s easy to wear, accessible and light. But watch out: this is Zara. One day it’s on the shelves and the next it disappears, like a blocked ex. If you like it, buy a backup because Zara has ephemeral perfumes. Buy blind, you never know when it vanishes forever.
You walk into Zara for some trousers and leave with Leather Fever. It sounds like a motorcycle and danger, but it smells of capital pear. The leather is only in the name, the pear is the show owner. The citrus don’t show up to the party and the violet is shy. The cedar prevents it from being a milkshake and the sandalwood and vetiver base try to find their place. Pure unisex: if you use it, the bottle disappears. But it’s worth it for the ridiculous price. The pear here is the rebellious rave cousin, not the elegant one from Lancôme. Easy to wear, light and without pretensions. Just be careful: Zara is ephemeral, buy before it disappears like an Instagram ex.
Call me crazy, cry, throw hate or mock me, but its fruity part, just a little, reminds me of Erba Pura. It’s not its dupe, but it seems at some point it tried to follow its footsteps.
Lasts a lot in the heat and during the day. It’s a fresh, sweet pear that doesn’t suffocate, although if you wear it every day it can become tiring. Like almost everything from Zara, the quality-price ratio is brilliant. I recommend it to have a different scent in your collection.
Lasts luxuriously in the heat and in the morning. A fresh, sweet pear that doesn’t suffocate, although if you use it daily it can become tiring. Like almost everything from Zara, the quality-price ratio is unbeatable. I recommend it to have a different scent in your collection.
Smells sweet yet fresh, ideal for spring or summer, with that rich green pear. It feels a bit synthetic, but it doesn’t bother me. I’ve received many compliments and use 6 to 9 sprays. It lasts about 5-6 hours, projecting strongly for the first hour and a half. I picked it up on offer at Zara for under £20. Fragrance 8.5/10, longevity 7/10, sillage 7.5/10. If you apply many sprays, it becomes more noticeable. Compliments 9/10
I’d describe it as sweet yet super fresh, perfect for spring or summer. Smells like green, juicy pear… There’s a hint of synthetic scent, but it doesn’t bother me. I’ve received many compliments and use 6 to 9 sprays or more. It lasts around 5-6 hours, projects well for the first hour and a half. I picked it up on offer at Zara for under $20. Fragrance 8.5/10, longevity 7/10, sillage 7.5/10. If you apply plenty of sprays, the longevity improves. Compliments 9/10.
Luckily it smells of pear and citrus, like enjoying a juice in an office with a city view. It’s clean, delicate, and elegant, lasting over 8 hours with a huge sillage. You buy it with your eyes closed. 100% recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️
