Extremely soft and super summery…
One of my favourites. What a pity it’s limited edition. It’s soft, fresh, and youthful, with a perfect sweet touch for summer. Although it’s floral, it doesn’t sting like others; it’s very delicate. I recommend it if you can still get hold of it.
I’m on my second bottle and I won’t be able to find it again; what a shame it’s limited edition. The vanilla trail it leaves after a few hours is unmatched, pure love.
Eau d’Amour, yes, this perfume contains a wonder of love within it, how could you not love it? A dear friend gifted it to me, adding to its value. Thinking it was called ‘L’Eau’, I expected something light, but no… if you know the traditional Amour, it has the same delicious powdery vanilla base, but here they’ve added tea and a delightful lemon. Vanilla and lemon? Mmm, yes, it’s absolutely delicious accompanied by powdery, creamy, and very subtle ylang-ylang and frangipani. It has a moderate trail and lasts about 8 hours. You can wear it all year round; honestly, I finished it very quickly. It’s one of those perfumes I find myself craving to use every day.
I don’t find it fresh or green at all. On my skin, it comes across as sweeter, almost chocolatey. I also bought it blindly; I like it, but it’s not one of my favourites.
Exceptional heat, it feels like an oriental fragrance. Warm and sweet, yet not fresh or fruity. A truly original scent; I’d never seen anything like it before, not even from the bottle. I fell in love.
It’s not as light as the name suggests, but I adored it and it remains one of my favourites. On my skin, the citrus notes really shine, especially the bergamot. It’s a rare citrus-vanilla blend. For 40-degree days in my city, it was perfect towards the end of spring; too sweet for summer, but it should work wonderfully in cooler climates. What a pity it was limited edition.
Very potent, not something to buy blindly (I already own one). I wouldn’t recommend it for summer as it projects heavily and the trail is overwhelming. It’s floral with soft citrus notes; the vanilla doesn’t stand out as much as the flowers, giving it a more spring-like feel. Very feminine and delicious, simply enchanting. Once dried down, it’s less invasive, though the trail remains noticeable. It’s long-lasting and the price isn’t too excessive.
