Smells very generic and fades quickly; not worth paying that much for such a weak fragrance.

  • That typical trend of adding ‘Parfum’ to something with the highest possible water concentration, leaving the notes practically imperceptible.

  • I won’t go on: excellent perfume but with poor longevity and projection. The price doesn’t match what this brand offers. Another example of how reformulations can ruin a great scent.

  • I won’t dedicate many lines to it; in summary: an excellent perfume with poor longevity and projection; a high price that doesn’t match what one expects from this brand. Another excellent example of how to ‘kill’ a good perfume through reformulations.

  • Hello! I bought it cheap and absolutely love it. It’s not a beast in projection (perhaps it shouldn’t be called Parfum), but it has an incredible ‘warm freshness’. It starts citrusy and crisp, moving into a spectacular sweet-and-sour cardamom (15 minutes of glory). The heart is floral with green basil and geranium, typical of the line. The woody and amber base reminds me of L’Homme Électrique—elegant and versatile. The blue gradient bottle with the screw-top cap is gorgeous. Ideal for intermediate seasons.

  • How are you all? I bought it at a good price and I’m enjoying it. It’s true, it’s not a beast in terms of projection/performance (it shouldn’t have been called Parfum), but it has a ‘warm freshness’ that I absolutely love. It opens with a cold citrus effluvium that mutates into a magnificent sweet-and-sour cardamomo, making its opening 15 minutes of glory. The heart is aromatic and floral: the basil gives it a green push that contrasts with the geranium, a note that repeats in many flankers of the L’homme and Nuit lines. The final woods and sweet amber notes remind me of L’Homme Electrique, a fragrance that along with L’Homme Ultime was very interesting, although now discontinued. I find it elegant yet versatile, very pleasant with a delicate and delicious citrus-floral hint. The bottle is beautiful, a gradient blue colour with its classic screw-top cap. For intermediate seasons.

  • I thought it would last longer than the EDT… I think it’s even weaker. What a shame. Can’t they make an EDT with better fixation or projection? I thought this would be the case, but I should have bought a decant first; I would have wasted money. That said, it smells incredibly rich, just like the EDT, with some added notes that make it a bit heavier, I suppose it’s the amberwood that makes it feel slightly synthetic, just like in Bleu de Chanel EDP, but here it doesn’t feel as synthetic as in other fragrances where they use it. I suppose it’s well balanced. Just like it doesn’t project or last. What a pity because I love this DNA. I’d put it in the top 5 of the best aromas in the world.

  • A perfume disaster. It should be called cologne. I sprayed two sprays in the store and after half an hour it barely smells anything; the projection is scarce. You have to press your nose to your hand to notice anything, and the scent itself is a complete disappointment. I have a cheap equivalent version of the EDT that beats this in every aspect.

  • It’s a disaster. It should be called cologne: I sprayed it twice and after half an hour it barely smells anything. The projection is non-existent; you have to press your nose to your hand to notice anything. The scent is disappointing. I have a cheap EDT version that absolutely crushes this in every single aspect.

Yes, it’s not a beast and its projection isn’t the best, but this perfume will distinguish you from others. With that aromatic hint of the original but a more modern twist, it fits like a glove for almost any occasion. It smells elegant, distinguished, and classy; modern yet away from the masses. Use it for a dinner with friends, a blind date, or even at the office in medium to cold seasons. It’s curious to see so much criticism, even from people willing to spend 80 euros on the ‘new’ Acqua di Gio Parfum, a mass-market scent with regular performance and no novelty. Take my word for it; both this and the original are worth trying; their sophisticated aroma won’t disappoint. You’ll smell like a unique gentleman.

Yes, it’s not a beast and the projection is normal, but this perfume makes you stand out. With that aromatic touch of the original and a modern twist, it fits anywhere. It smells elegant, distinguished, and classy, far from the masses. Perfect for dinners, dates, or even the office in autumn/winter. It’s curious to see so much criticism when people are paying £80 for the new Acqua di Gio Parfum, which smells average and doesn’t innovate. Listen to me: both this and the original are worth trying. Its sophistication won’t disappoint; you’ll smell like a unique gentleman.

L’HOMME Le Parfum is, without a doubt, the best in the line. It conveys a clean and sexy feel effortlessly. It’s already on my favourites list and I’ll be buying more when I run out. It smells potent and is easy to like; it projects well and fills rooms at first. Its longevity is 7 to 9 hours, which is more than enough. It features one of the best cardamoms on the market, giving it that sensual virile aura, mixed with ozonic notes and woody chords that add solidity. Initially, the cardamomo and ozonic notes dominate the opening, backed by a soapy touch that gradually fades into the woody base. I recommend it to young men aged 19 to 35 who want to stand out and differentiate themselves from current sweet aromas, projecting attractiveness and confidence, ‘Starboy’ style. Imagine a young man in a dark sports car on a party night, enjoying his attractiveness and masculinity, ready to pick up his girlfriend and make an impression at the club, not caring about anything else because he’s with the only one who matters.

L’HOMME Le Parfum is, without a doubt, the best in the line: clean and sexy without effort. It’s already a staple in my collection; I’ll buy it again when it runs out. It smells powerful and easy to like, filling the room at first, although its duration (7-9 hours) depends on the volatility of some notes, but it’s sufficient. A top-tier cardamom dominates, with a virile and sensual aura, mixed with ozonic and woody notes that add solidity. The dry down is dominated by cardamom and ozone with a soapy touch that leads to the woody base. I recommend it to young men aged 19 to 35 who want to stand out among sweet scents and convey security, a ‘Starboy’ style. Imagine a young man in a black sports car on a party night, with a masculine aura and his own style, picking up his girlfriend to go to the club; his presence leaves a mark, but he only cares about her.

  • I bought it blind and it smells like Invictus, but with less strength and longevity. I don’t think it adds anything new to my collection, so I won’t be repurchasing. I don’t trust reviews for this one. That said, it smells very good, but there are hundreds of identical perfumes out there.

A bit generic and pricey for what it delivers. Smells of cardamomo with a very 90s woody base. The violet is rich and emerges as it dries down, lasting quite a while. The woody base suits it well too. I see it more as a daytime scent than for evening; versatile but somewhat formal. It smells nice, but I feel it lacks something, especially considering it bears the name ‘Parfum’ and the performance is just average.
