Descripción
Light Blue Pour Homme Summer Vibes by Dolce&Gabbana is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2023, this composition was created by Alberto Morillas. Its olfactive structure unfolds with a top note of Sicilian lemon and Sicilian lime, giving way to a heart of cypress, and closing with a base of Amberwood.

Incredible that the fragrance has just launched and already has 17 votes. You can see how the community is damaged by people who, deep down, don’t have love for this hobby; otherwise, they wouldn’t do something like this.
It smells very similar to the Light Blue Intense.
I tried it twice with the tester at El Corte Inglés. It lasts barely two hours (barely on the skin by the end) and the projection is almost non-existent. I tested it at 20 and 26 degrees, spraying it well. It’s a pity because it does nothing against Forever (a punch of grapefruit), Italian Love, or the LBI. No aroma, no sillage, no longevity, no performance. At first, it smells like lemon and cypress, but in minutes, it’s gone. The bottle is beautiful, with a ceramic texture, a jewel that proves sometimes the cover isn’t representative. It smells like a missed opportunity. Hopefully, we’ll be lucky again next year.
The bottle is kitsch in its purest form. The perfume is practically identical to the classic Light Blue or the Intense. I imagine it’s just a version for collectors; there’s nothing new to smell here.
I’m buying the Costa Azzurra line from Tom Ford, and the resemblance between the EDP and the Acqua is incredible. This version is more citrusy and herbal; I don’t feel that aquatic marine touch of the Intense I know. Given the ingredients, the similarity to the other fragrance I mentioned makes sense.
The bottle is beautiful, worthy of designer perfumery, a reflection of Mediterranean art with that typical southern porcelain. However, this edition follows the path of the original and Intense more than the recent launches with grapefruit and violet. It’s more woody, aromatic, and green, with an undeclared sandalwood base and a powdery ambience that makes it balanced and versatile, although with very inferior performance. That aquatic background of the line, which some link to egg, is present but softened. It’s not a standout launch; it’s a follower; the pretty packaging stands out more than the contents. Worthy of collection only for those who can stomach Dolce & Gabbana’s seasonal launches.
It smells fresh and becomes sweet as it dries, but the longevity is ridiculous: not even an hour. For comparison, I sprayed one of my Antonio Banderas backups on top of it, and this one lasts a third as long.
I love the aroma; it’s sweet, reminding me of a sweet with sugar on top or bread with sugar and cinnamon; yes, it starts more citrusy, but I must say that honestly its performance is terrible. When I put it on my skin, I felt like I was wearing water with a scent; it felt too liquid. It projects for half an hour if I’m lucky, and afterwards it’s completely skin scent after an hour; the scent lasts until about four hours, but having to bring my nose right up to the skin to smell it seems quite disappointing… A tragedy, as the truth is it’s a very easy scent to enjoy.
Summer Vibes is citrusy, green, and marine, although the marine accord stays in the background against a brighter lemon and bergamot than its predecessors. After a few hours, it leaves a sweet, common woody base. Ideal for heat and casual wear, it smells pleasant and safe, but don’t buy it blindly. I love the bottle, with details that look like Mexican Talavera pottery.
If you’re looking to decorate your dressing table, it’s worth it, but forget about the performance: it’s very weak for the price. In the end, it smells just like the regular Light Blue, with no surprises or justification for the cost.
A genuine scam. Nothing more to say.
To be honest, we’re dealing with an interesting fragrance, very different from what the Light Blue line proposes. On the opening, it’s a floral and citrus blend with a lemon that creates an original and attractive combination, very pleasant. Above all, it’s very comfortable, and as it dries down it becomes sweeter, with a touch of amber and wood. Its main drawback is the performance: it has almost no projection, even when freshly applied, at least on my skin. It is true that it lasts quite a while on the skin, even after showering, but it’s not worth it if it’s little more than a body mist.
Avoid being scammed with this fragrance. It doesn’t last even 30 minutes. I don’t understand how a prestigious brand releases something like this. The fragrance is rich, but with that performance, you’re throwing money away.
I’m testing it; it has longevity on the skin but poor projection. The aroma is very pleasant, truly rich. However, yes, given the brand and that it’s by master Alberto Morillas, I expected more. To avoid any mental conflict, buy it thinking you’re purchasing a cologne, not an EDT, and that’s the end of the story. Although, for colognes, the Dior one is better.
As everyone says: a summer scent, impossible for anyone to dislike, with an exquisite fresh citrus opening, a very natural essence of lemon and cypress, a perfect combination… but that’s all. You apply four sprays and after two hours there’s no trace left. Simply put, given the price, the house behind it, and master Morillas endorsing its creation, I expected much more, but astronomically more. The bottle is beautiful and collectible, but I would NOT buy it.
I bought it in May 2023 when it first arrived in Mexico. The bottle is beautiful and the in-store marketing was impressive. Upon wearing it, the scent is very potent with cypress and lemon, a real treat for those first few minutes… but unfortunately, it vanished very quickly and I couldn’t detect it after two hours. Now in 2024, I wear it more often and feel the longevity has improved to around four to six hours, with the scent just as rich as the first time. It falls short on performance, though the bottle design is the best part. We’ll see what surprises us in 2024 with D&G Light Blue.
It smells good and has a subtle yet effective freshness, though nothing remarkable. I feel disappointed, yet I still want to find Italian Love, as it seems that one should be the perfect choice.
I bought it a week ago and used it for seven days straight at work, on outings, and at home to see if it was as bad as people say. And yes, the longevity is disappointing: it lasts four to five hours measured on skin and clothes with heavy application (clothes last an hour longer) indoors. Outdoors or with wind, it dissipates in 30 minutes, leaving only skin scent in bursts until the one-and-a-half-hour mark. It smells delicious, but it doesn’t justify its poor performance given the price, brand, and perfumer. I wouldn’t recommend it.
In summary, based on everyone’s opinions: 1. It smells luxurious and the bottle is beautiful. 2. If you’re expecting compliments, forget it, as the projection is non-existent and it lasts between an hour and a half. 3. For a summer fragrance, it fades too quickly due to the heat. A total disappointment and I regret buying it.
A citrus, fresh, and clean fragrance, unique, delicious, and simple for intense heat days. Its price and presentation are lovely. It has good sillage: with 5-7 sprays it projects well and lasts around 5-7 hours, depending on your skin chemistry.
What a pity that such a delicious scent lasts and projects so little; terrible performance.
Almost a year with this fragrance and I regret its poor projection. It’s a delightful aroma, lasting only on the skin and barely detectable on clothes unless you press your nose close. From the very first minute, the projection is non-existent; a shame as it’s pleasant and perfect for heat. If you’re looking for compliments, it’s not the option; if you prefer smelling yourself, it might work. Personally, it disappointed me.
I found it hard to admit that buying Summer Vibes was a disappointment. I’ll keep it for the beautiful bottle, but the scent, though delicious for summer, fades too quickly.
Exquisite; an extraordinary balance for summer, pity its longevity.
Wonderful perfume; I loved the heart notes and the dry-down. It’s a shame the longevity means it’s not worth the price (I feel it’s expensive for lasting so little). I’d recommend buying a decant to try first and carrying a small spray if you want to wear it all day.
I went to the store and tested the scent; it’s lovely but reminds me of the Avon perfume my mother bought me when I was a child. After the initial spray, that Avon note emerges, and once it dries down, it smells almost exactly like the classic Light Blue of old.
The perfume is exquisite and lasts well enough. The issue is the trail dies quickly and it clings to the skin. Perfect for extreme heat or intimate dates with a happy ending. Very rich if you enjoy citrus; you simply can’t be without it.
The bottle is gorgeous and the scent is brilliant, but the longevity is ridiculous; it feels like a rip-off unless you’re collecting the Light Blue series.
The bottle is beautiful, but the performance is terrible. Alongside John Varvatos Artisan, these are the shortest-lasting fragrances I’ve owned; even Aqua di Gio lasted longer than Summer Vibes. Besides, it smells almost identical to the original Light Blue; perhaps on my skin it doesn’t dry down properly, but the top notes are 98% the same and those last much longer. What a pity, I’m a huge fan of the D&G line.
Beautiful opening. Definitely makes me feel at the beach. It’s a pity you have to carry a small atomiser with you to reapply every hour and a half if you want people to notice it. A minimum of nine sprays, and for greater trail, I recommend thirteen. Beautiful scent but moderate performance leaning towards mediocre. If you’re looking for a similar one from the line, go for Eau Intense. I bought it blindly and it’s not a let-down, but it’s not what I expected.
My nickname is JimBlue because I’ve been a fan of Light Blue and its flankers since 2007. Let me assure you that Summer Vibes doesn’t resemble the original nor the Intense. It’s very fresh, aromatic, with a citrus opening that reminds me more of green apple than lemon. A few minutes later, the woody green of the cypress does its job and closes with drops of amber. I bought it blindly on offer. It’s ideal for summer; although it has no aquatic notes, it’s a green citrus. It resembles Hugo Reversed greatly. Its performance is poor, which is why it’s suitable for the gym, school, daytime, etc. If I had tried it before…
I’m writing this because it’s on offer in Argentina to encourage any hesitant buyer. I bought it in 18 instalments; the 125ml bottle cost me 120,000 pesos (around 100 dollars at the time, and everything is expensive here). It’s my first designer bottle, and I wanted Dolce & Gabbana for the Light Blue line. According to reviewers, Summer Vibes is closer to the original than other flankers, and if that’s the case, I’m not too impressed. The perfume is rich and simple; those are the three declared notes. The lemon is of good quality. I’m not one of those who loves citrus for fear of smelling like detergent, but my fears dissipated. It’s not cloying; it’s a fresh, lively, juicy lemon, without abstract nonsense. Along with the fresh wood in the base, it smells charming and very well made; it’s not a generic alcohol-based fresh scent. As a beginner, I hadn’t smelled anything like this in my Pibes-range perfumes. It reminded me of the smell of my uncle coming back from the factory, a mix of chemical note and welding smell; perhaps he used some Light Blue all these years. It will be my fragrance for intense heat, very useful in my area where it’s very hot all year; the scent performs satisfactorily and isn’t annoying. The performance is low (expected), but not as much as I read: at 35 degrees of humid heat, it lasted more than three hours before fading to the skin. Perhaps the problem is the dermis; start drinking more water. It projects very discreetly, just what I’m looking for, although perhaps not enough for a citrus. At almost 1,000 pesos per ml (super competitive price on offer), it’s a great option, but at the nominal price without facilities, it’s not worth it. The fact that it’s a limited edition saves me the doubt of buying it again, although if I were to go for sure, it would be tempting. The bottle is very pretty, with my blue and white colours. It would look good in a collection, but I prefer rotations. I give it a 6.99 out of 10. Recommended with conditions: it does more than enough.
I’m writing this because it’s on offer in Argentina this summer to encourage the undecided. I bought it in comfortable instalments; the 125ml bottle cost me 120,000 pesos (around one hundred dollars, as it’s expensive here) and it’s my first designer bottle. I wanted Dolce & Gabbana because it catches my attention and I’d heard well of Light Blue. According to reviewers, this Summer Vibes is closer to the original; if that’s the case (I’ve never smelled the first), I’m not too impressed. The fragrance is nice and simple; the three declared notes are all there; the lemon feels of good quality. I wasn’t keen on lemon perfumes as I’m not a fan of fresh scents and feared smelling like detergent, but my fears dissipated. I can’t speak of nobility or if there’s a better lemon, but it more than delivered. It’s not a sweet lemon; I understand there are more bitter citrus in perfumery, but it’s not cloying. It’s a fresh, lively lemon, ‘juicy’, without any abstract nonsense. Alongside the fresh woody base, it feels enchanting. It’s not generic; it smells very well-made; all notes are distinct; it’s not a cheap alcohol-based generic fresh scent; I, being a beginner, haven’t smelled anything like this in my Pibes (entry-level) perfumes before. It’s a very well-crafted little lemon. If this is Alberto Morillas’ signature, I understand what they refer to. On first impression, it reminded me of my uncle’s smell when he returned from the factory, a mix of chemical notes and welding odour; now I wonder if he wasn’t using some Light Blue or similar. It will be my fragrance for intense heat, very useful where I live as it’s hot all year and this type of perfume is necessary; the scent performs very well and isn’t annoying. The performance is short (expected) but not as bad as I read; at 35 degrees of humid heat, it lasts more than three hours before fading on the skin, perhaps the dermis is absorbing more water. It projects very discreetly, just what I’m looking for, although perhaps not enough for a citrus; the initial lemon burst is felt for a few minutes and has a trail. At nearly one thousand pesos per millilitre (a super competitive price on offer) it’s a great option ALWAYS AND WHEN it’s on offer; at the nominal price without facilities, it’s not worth it for me. The fact that it’s a limited edition saves me if I were to buy it again; probably not, but I doubt it, as I’m of the cautious type and now that I’ve found one suitable for my region and wallet, it would be tempting. The bottle is very pretty; blue and white are my colours. It would look good in a collection, although I think only rotations should be kept. I give it a 6.99 out of 10. Recommended with conditions. A fragrance that more than delivers.
I have mixed feelings. While it shares much with its sister, Light Blue Intense, it has that woody aspect that gives it distinction. The opening is citrusy and woody, slightly aldehydic but not much. The heart features the characteristic marine notes of the line. The base has cedar, amber, and perhaps a touch of musk that linger on the skin. It’s worth adding to the collection, both for the scent and the bottle, which looks like Talavera pottery. If you have to choose between Light Blue Intense and Summer Vibes, sadly I recommend the former, as this one has very subtle differences. If you don’t have the previous one, this is a perfect option. In the end, the decision is up to your nose and how you intend to use it.
Fresh and citrusy, but with that well-balanced feminine note that defines the Light Blue line. In my opinion, it’s very similar to Light Blue Eau Intense; I think if you have the latter, you don’t need this.
Very wearable, though it tires me out a bit due to that wet wood tone when it dries down. It doesn’t resemble the other Light Blues as much. It has good performance, but it’s not a beast. Very versatile; you can wear it in any weather. I don’t recommend buying without trying it first.
Fresh, citrusy, and delicious, with a summer vibe. I encountered it at the gym through a colleague; I really liked the scent. I know it’s not ideal to wear perfume before working out, but in this case, it smelled very fresh and intense (in a good way). It’s not one of the best in the top tier, but it’s a great fragrance in its own right, perfect for everyday wear, warm climates, spring, and summer. It won’t fail you.
I’m not sure; it’s a bit of a let-down for me, but there are far better options for less money. It’s quite acidic and a little bitter, depending on whether you like that style. The cypress and lime are very noticeable; I also detect a hint of pepper and salt. What lasts the longest are the woody notes once the citrus fades. It’s fresh and good for heat, but the performance is disappointing, lasting only about three hours before you need to reapply, which is common for fresh scents. Personally, I was let down; I’ve heard good things about this line but this version doesn’t deliver. If you can get it for under fifty dollars, it wouldn’t be a bad idea, but try it first as there are better options at that price. The bottle is very pretty, I won’t deny that.
Well, quite nice.
Delicious! Super citrusy and very masculine. Smells excellent and lasts about six hours on the skin. Ideal for hot weather; I recommend it.
