A lazy day at home with my four-legged cat, who acts as an extra blanket against the chill, becomes even more delightful when the postman arrives at my door. Thanks, friend Bofifa! Mimmina M for Men opens with very natural fruity notes, reminiscent of Krizia Uomo but with a less sharp, sweeter pine, creating a pleasant and intriguing blend that settles into a soft sweetness. It’s hard to find, recalling superior quality from the past, with a discreet projection and more than sufficient longevity; delicate and elegant.
I bought this fragrance at a market for its masculine, intentional bottle and low price, expecting a citrus-woody scent or a Kouros knock-off. Nothing like that; it has its own identity. It opens with powerful earthy patchouli and honey, which soften upon drying with hints of sandalwood and moss, nothing dizzying, but rather sweet, elegant, and clean. It’s a masculine aroma akin to Paco Rabanne or Brut, without reaching powerhouse status. Projection is above average with a sillage lasting several hours. It’s an Italian scent from 1971, but there’s no further information, which drives me mad. A week later, I returned to the market and took every single bottle.
