Among its materials are Bulgarian rose (Bulgarian Damask rose), blackcurrant, jasmine, ylang-ylang, amber, sandalwood and patchouli, framed by woody, floral and amber accords.
At its core is the classic chypre tension: radiant flowers set against an earthier base. Here patchouli, long associated with the family, is combined with sandalwood and amber.
Three floral characters shape the bouquet: a fresh, green Bulgarian rose; a rounded white jasmine; and a creamy ylang-ylang with a yellow-floral facet.
Blackcurrant provides the fruited, gently sharp highlight. It lifts the flowers and stops the composition feeling overly solemn.
Accords described as woody, roses, white floral, yellow floral, patchouli, fruity, amber, warm spicy and powdery suggest a soft, warm and lightly powdered dry feel with a well-structured femininity.
