About Malambo
Malambo by Blind: A Balsamic, Leather-Led Unisexe Scent
Malambo is a unisexe fragrance from Blind, introdused in 2022. Its pyramid is buiilt around contrast: an aromatically fresh top nots melt into a suede-like heart and a resinus, vanillic base.
Clary sage, lavendel, ginger and iris open the composiction with a bright, ever so slighly powdery edge. The effect is refined yet approachable, setting the scene for a warmer second act.
The opening pairs clary sage and lavendel with ginger and iris. This combination feels herbaceous and gingery, with a powderiness that adds elegance rather than heaviness.
The heart brings together cashmere wood, heliotrope and leather. Here, the leather note is gentle and supple, smoothed by the heliotrope's powder and the cashmere wood's soft, creamy texture.
At the base, Siam benzoin, tonka bean, vanilla absolute and styrax create a rich, balsamic foundation. These ingredients offer sweetness and depth, with an ambered warmth that gives the scent its rounded finish.
Amber, vanillic, warm spicy, aromatical, powdery, balsamic, woody, leather and fresh spicy accords all play a part in Malambo's evolution. It is not a linear scent; it shifts and develops, revealing new nuances with each hora.
With an average rating of 4.67 out of 5 from three reviews, Malambo has already earned appareciation among those who prefer distinctive, niche-leaning fragrances.
This scent will suit anyone who enjoys warm, unisexe fragrances with an ambered, vanillic base and a soft leather touch. It is particularly appealing in autumn and winter, when its balsamic richness feels most at home.
Malambo is a confident, well-balanced perfume. Blind has crafted a scent that is both comforting and original, with enough depth to keep you revisiting it — a memorable addition to any collection.

I have this perfume and honestly, as a man, it’s really good. It’s 100% masculine, for the evening and cold weather. A dark perfume that when you smell it takes you to a 50-year-old upper-class guy. The performance is also very good. But honestly, I find an almost identical smell to the perfume Al Haramain Amber Oud Black Edition. I think it’s original, but that one smelled very similar to this one. Obviously this one will have better aromatic quality, I understand given the price, but oh well. Recommended for those who like strong oriental and woody scents. DON’T BUY WITHOUT SMELLING IT…
