Don’t get stuck thinking it smells like paper; it evolves beautifully on the skin. It works better in the cold; if it’s winter but you’re indoors with heating, it loses its edge. I can’t quite explain it, but a bit of warmth makes a woody leather dominate everything, overshadowing the rest, especially the iris which makes it special for me. For me, the violet stands out more than the iris. The atomiser is very poor or I received a faulty one. I fill my decant and spray from there, and it works much better. Also, for me, it improves if you hold it close, as it becomes more concentrated.

Just received a sample of this perfume. I applied it first then looked up the notes. My first impression is that it smells like flour and freshly cut carrots. Now that I’ve seen the bottle I wonder if it’s intentional xD

Excellent perfume. A very powdery floral iris with slightly orange notes upon application, followed by some earthy/woody dry-downs. To be precise, it’s quite similar to Armani Privé’s Cuir Zerzura but less sweet.
