Descripción
Midnight Romance by Ralph Lauren is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2014, this composition was created by Honorine Blanc and Alberto Morillas. Super soft aroma, it reminded me of the violet colognes from my childhood, when my grandmother bathed me for school. It has nothing to do with Midnight, nor does it resemble the original Romance, which is MUCH better, just like other lines such as Romance Always Yours, which is the best of all. To me, it’s a lot of noise and very little substance; just because its perfumer is mixed-race doesn’t mean it smells good as many expect. I don’t believe in fame or the brand; if I like it, it’s good, hehe. It doesn’t smell bad, it’s soft and delicate, but it’s not what I expected. And forget about the longevity, it’s terrible, less than three hours.
What a lovely perfume! As soon as I can, I’ll buy it.
I bought it on offer with the cream and gel, but even with both, the longevity isn’t good. It smells lovely, with a strong note of raspberry and flowers. It’s intense, but I’d say it’s for someone younger or more casual, perfect for a spring day. Lasts about two hours.
It’s a delicious fragrance, smells exquisite. But it lasts very little, a maximum of two hours. When I smell it, it reminds me of a sexy and successful woman. Honestly, I sensed notes of grapefruit and red roses.
Super rich and exquisite fragrance, though it doesn’t last long, maybe two hours at most. It evokes a sexy, successful woman; to me, it smells of grapefruit and red roses.
I liked it, but the longevity is non-existent; it vanishes the moment you apply it.
I liked it, but the longevity is non-existent; as soon as you apply it, it evaporates.
I tried it and I love it. It’s delicate and feminine. Although I agree that it doesn’t last long, I would buy it anyway simply because it’s pleasant.
Contrary to the previous ones, it lasts HOURS on me. I don’t know why; I’ve tried it several times and people say it smells good after so long, even that the sillage is strong. Personally, I feel it hardly lasts that long, perhaps due to my pH, but I feel very comfortable wearing it. Although my favourites are the sweet ones, I like this floral one immensely; it smells great and everyone notices it.
Unlike others, this perfume lasts HOURS on my skin. I don’t know why, but I’ve tested it several times and people comment that it smells lovely after so long, even that the trail is strong. Personally, I think it’s hard to last that long, perhaps due to my pH, but I feel very comfortable wearing it. Although my favourites are sweet ones, I love this floral so much; it smells delicious and everyone notices it 🙂
In my opinion, it’s floral, a little sweet but not cloying, with a very pleasant and feminine scent. On my skin, the longevity is quite good.
It’s delicious. I apply it on musk, lychee, freesia, and peony, which give it a unique touch. Very youthful, fresh, and yet classic at the same time.
I noticed it was soft after two hours. At first, it felt a bit heavy, very sweet and rich, as if I could eat it, but it didn’t seem attractive or elegant to me.
After two hours, it’s quite subtle; initially, it was a heavy, very sweet and rich scent, almost edible, but I didn’t find it elegant.
The only thing I hate is that it lasts so little and is so soft. If it lasted longer and were more intense, it would be the perfect fragrance. It’s incredibly delicate, feminine, and easy to wear daily. I met it through a work colleague; as soon as she walked into the office, I asked what perfume she was wearing because I fell in love at first sniff. Due to my pH, it doesn’t have the same sillage as on her, but I still enjoy using it very much. It puts me in a great mood.
It seems to be the daytime version of Tresor Midnight Rose, so much so that the name doesn’t fit. ‘Midnight Romance’ sounds passionate, but this is more like a secondary school girl with a crush: feminine, delicate, fresh, and powdery. It’s a mix of raspberry and peony; the ambroxan is only noticeable if you know where to look, with no mystery. The iris adds that powdery tenderness. It smells great, but the name fails. I’d call it ‘Secret Crush’; it suits me better. It reminds me a bit of Daisy Eau So Fresh, but more powdery with a warm touch.
It seems like the daytime version of Tresor Midnight Rose, so much so that I can’t see the logic in the name. ‘Midnight Romance’ sounds passionate, but this is feminine and delicate, like a schoolgirl with a crush. It’s not serious romance, nor is it nocturnal or mysterious. It’s fresh, powdery, and a sweet floral. It’s raspberry with peony (the ambroxan is only noticeable if you know what to look for; there’s no mystery). The iris gives a powdery, tender sensation. It smells very good, but the name doesn’t suit it. I’d call it ‘Secret Crush’; it fits better. It reminds me a bit of Daisy Eau So Fresh, but more powdery and warm.
I disagree that it’s only for the night. I like it because it has a citrus raspberry opening that I prefer to Nina Rose Extase, which I find piercing and overwhelming. The bergamot note is brilliant. It’s romantic, innocent, and very wearable. Once it dries down, the iris smells wonderful. It doesn’t have much sillage and fades in intensity quite quickly. It lasts about four hours on the skin. My favourite will always be the original Romance; I miss the woodiness… I won’t be buying it again.
I adore it; it looks incredibly sophisticated and elegant. The first time a friend wore it, she wouldn’t stop praising it, and I asked for the name three times in case I forgot. To me, it’s a scent for the night; mystery and romance blend strangely and exquisitely with the smoke and smog of the evening. By day, it’s innocent, but on those chilly autumn afternoons with the fires lit, it transforms! It was on such a day that I first encountered it and felt my skin wasn’t doing it justice until I discovered that combination.
I love this perfume. I consider it sophisticated and elegant. The first time I smelled it on a friend, I couldn’t stop praising it; I asked for the name three times for fear of forgetting it. For me, it is indeed nocturnal: the mystery and romance combine in a strange and exquisite way with the smoke and smog of the night. Midnight Romance by day is innocent, but at night, on those cold autumn days with the first chimneys lit, it transforms! I first knew of it on such an afternoon and felt my pH wasn’t doing it justice until I discovered that combination.
A friend tried it and won’t stop saying what a pity it’s discontinued; it’s an exquisite perfume that people just can’t get enough of.
