This brand’s packaging is something else: a fine black wooden box that opens like a door, revealing the bottle and a mirror inside. The bottle is heavy, with metallic accents, resembling a magical elixir. And it deserves it, because the scent is a delight. It bears a striking resemblance to Layton Exclusif, almost perfect. If you enjoy Anaqeed Green, another gem from Fragrance World, this is equally good, though it adds coffee like Layton does. If you know and appreciate Parfums de Marly, buy blind: it is identical and you save a good few quid. One of the best Arab scents I have tried. The longevity is brutal; I wore it for nearly ten hours on skin after opening, and the projection is top-notch. Highly recommended.
It bears a resemblance to Layton, but with significantly better projection. The difference lies in that earthy-mossy note absent from the other, which, to be honest, gives the scent a slightly dirty edge. It might be closer to Layton Exclusif, which features oakmoss, but for me, they are not the same.
