  I noticed there were no reviews, so I decided to write the first one since I received it today. I was very reluctant to buy it as it was only recommended by an Arabic expert, and I knew it wouldn’t suit me, but if you want a unique collection, you need to own some rarities. It’s a scent I’d never tried before, so I’m glad I bought it. The packaging is another level, a true marvel. The fragrance is intense; this wasn’t a blind buy. It features a very prominent saffron and an animalistic oud; the opening smells like a ‘stable’ (to put it mildly). As it dries down, that smell disappears and a leather note emerges, blending with the saffron to make it more bearable, though it remains unique and unlike anything else in my collection. It is 100% Arabic. To put it mildly, it reminds me of Maison Alhambra’s Exclusif Tabac: it’s for people with strong personalities, leaving a powerful trail that shouts ‘I am here’. It is a perfume extract, and the concentration on the skin is noticeable. It’s ideal for elegant dressing, cold climates, and outdoor wear; totally not for summer. I don’t see it as unisex at all; I can’t imagine any woman wearing it. I am delighted; it’s a real treat. French Avenue is crushing it; it makes you want to buy anything they release without hesitation.

  I saw there were no comments, so I decided to leave the first one just after receiving this marvel. I was very sceptical about buying it solely because an Arabic reviewer had it in their favourites; I knew it wasn’t for me, but if you seek a unique collection, you need such rarities. It’s a scent I’d never experienced before, so I’m pleased with the choice. The packaging is another level, a visual jewel. The fragrance is intense, nothing like a blind buy: saffron right on the skin and animalistic oud; the opening smells like a ‘stable’ (to put it mildly). As it dries, that smell vanishes and a leather note mixed with saffron appears, making it more ‘pleasant’, though it remains unique, found nowhere in my collection or anywhere else. 100% Arabic. To put it mildly, it reminds me of Maison Alhambra’s Exclusif Tabac: for those with strong personalities, a powerful trail that declares ‘I am here’. It is an extract, and the concentration on the skin is notable. Ideal for elegant dressing, cold climates, and outdoor wear; anti-summer. It’s not unisex at all; I don’t see any woman wearing it. I think its performance is already evident. I am delighted; it’s a real treat. French Avenue is crushing it; it makes you want to buy everything they release without hesitation.

  It is the first Arabic perfume that has failed spectacularly. Although I like all kinds of fragrances, the notes in this one literally smell like cow dung; the aroma is far too unpleasant to wear.

  Today I tried Amber Saffron by French Avenue and, honestly, it has turned out to be a real winner. At first, it smells strong and potent, with an elegant character that certainly doesn’t go unnoticed, but the best part is how quickly it softens. That initial intensity gives way to a rounder, warmer scent that clings beautifully to the skin without being heavy. Once settled, the amber adds warmth while the saffron provides a very fine spicy touch. It’s a comfortable, enveloping fragrance that is perfect for the office. In short, it was a shrewd purchase: it starts with a bang but evolves into something soft and enjoyable for everyday wear.

  Amber Saffron by French Avenue is today’s debut after keeping it saved, and the sensation has been top-notch. From the start, it smells of quality, with an air of elegance and being well-groomed that adds sophistication without overdoing it. The opening is intense, a bit strong, and very present in the first few minutes; it’s not a shy opening, it has force and character, but the cool thing is that it softens considerably soon. That initial potency gives way to a rounder, warmer, and pleasant aroma that clings to the skin and becomes super wearable. Once settled, Amber Saffron shows its most balanced and elegant side. The amber base adds warmth and depth, while the saffron contributes a sophisticated, slightly spicy touch that elevates the whole composition. The result is a comfortable, enveloping, and easy-to-wear fragrance, even at work. In summary, my first experience has been very satisfactory. It is a fragrance with a powerful but well-controlled opening that evolves into something elegant, soft, and highly enjoyable, ideal for daily life. It smells excellent, works perfectly in the office, and undoubtedly invites frequent use.
