It’s sweet yet clean due to the musk, with a subtle metallic touch (unlike Bois Imperial) and barely any incense. It’s a beast mode that lasts and projects incredibly; you’re sure to win many compliments.

Clinical saffron, cold, and with a sterilised feel at first. As it evolves, it warms up with a vinyl-like leather note. The blend feels a bit vague, as if it lacks something to complete it, plus the market is saturated with saffrons. Its projection is enormous and can be heavy if over-applied, but worn well, it has its own character.

I bought it because the sample on the blotter left a scent trail all the way to the table. I loved it, and when wearing it, that noble scent is noticeable, strong but not overpowering. The saffron is very prominent alongside the clean musk, with a hint of leather or suede in the base.

Here, the saffron is the protagonist, a luxurious saffron. If you like saffron, it’s an excellent signature perfume. For others, a good perfume for mild seasons.

It recalls it slightly, but being reminded of a perfumery legend can only be taken as a compliment. I bought it on a trip to Paris when it wasn’t yet available in Spain. Simply superb.

It bears a slight resemblance, but comparing it to a legend is a compliment in itself. I picked it up in Paris when it wasn’t yet available here. Impressive.
