About Molten Toffee Oudh
Molten Toffee Oudh: Caramel, Leather and Oud
The Dua Brand presents Molten Toffee Oudh, a fragrance for men and women that launches in 2026. The nose behind it is Mahsam Raza, a perfumer known for dense, characterful compositions.
This scent sits in the Oriental Woody family. It takes its name from the idea of melted toffee, but the structure is more complex: sugary top notes meet saffron, oud, leather and moss.
The first impression is all brown sugar and milk, with a thread of saffron running through it. The saffron prevents the sweetness from feeling flat, adding a gentle heat and an almost resinous shimmer.
The heart brings vanilla, caramel, oakmoss and oud wood. It is here that the perfume starts to reveal its darker side. The caramel still glows, but the oud and moss pull it down into deeper, smokier territory.
At the base, sandalwood, cedar, ambroxan and leather take over. The leather is especially important: it gives the drydown a rugged edge, while ambroxan makes the scent feel more contemporary and helps it carry.
Described as woody, sweet, leathery, warm spicy, vanillic, powdery, oud, mossy, caramel and amber, the fragrance is quite dense. Still, it is well balanced, with enough dry wood to stop it turning cloying.
Best suited to colder months and evening wear, Molten Toffee Oudh is not a quiet fragrance. It leaves a distinctive trail and asks to be noticed.
This is for those who enjoy rich, unisex orientals, fans of sweet leather combinations, and anyone looking for an oud fragrance that is more about warmth than smoke.
Molten Toffee Oudh is a bold and satisfying composition. It delivers the smooth sugar rush of its name, then grounds it with leather, wood and oud, leaving a memorable impression.
