About Musc Brûlée
Musc Brûlée: Burnt Caramel and Soft Vanilla Musk
Musc Brûlée from Sorry Not Sorry is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women and men introduced in 2026. The composition is by perfumer Pedro Kimo.
It starts with caramel and custard, develops through Madagascar vanilla, milk, jasmine, tonka bean, salt and lily of the valley, and rests upon cashmere, sandalwood and white musk.
The first impression is gourmand and smooth: caramel offers a gently scorched sweetness, while custard lends a soft, pudding-like creaminess.
Through the middle, Madagascar vanilla comes together with milk and tonka bean to shape a sweet, milky centre. A pinch of salt provides contrast and stops the blend from becoming cloying.
Jasmine and lily of the valley contribute a pale white-floral note, adding a fresh, laundered clarity amongst the richer gourmand tones.
The drydown of cashmere, sandalwood and white musk is powdery, woody and cosy, giving the most enveloping stage of the fragrance.
Taken as a whole, it is a warm, amber-like and musky creation with sweet, lactonic and softly spiced nuances that reflect its Oriental Vanilla character.
It should appeal to those who favour a comforting, creamy vanilla freshened by white musk — well suited to daily wear in the cooler months and to lovers of well-judged sweet perfumes.
Musc Brûlée lives up to its title: caramelised warmth mellowed by milk and white musk into a mellow vanilla that remains inviting and easy to wear.
