I bought this discontinued fragrance at a bargain price because Fragantica claimed it resembled Dior’s Midnight Poison, and since it’s from the only Goddess and Queen of Pop. The truth is, it opens very synthetically, with just a hint of citrus and a cloying neroli sweetness. Once it settles, it smells of musky vanilla with a subtle patchouli note that gives it a pleasant, moderately potent scent. Does it resemble Midnight Poison? Perhaps 70-80%, bearing in mind its reservations and lower quality, but it boasts excellent longevity and sillage.
