I’m looking for something similar to Zara’s Oriental. I’ve tried Flowerbomb, Coco Mademoiselle, Dossier’s Floral Marshmallow, Royal Marina Diamond Princesse, Jimmy Choo, Si by Armani, and Narciso Rodriguez For Her, but none felt quite the same. I did like Paris Hilton’s Luxe Rush, but it fades far too quickly. I need something with better longevity, easy to find, and not discontinued.
Terrible for me, it’s far too strong. I bought it and am going to give it away because on my skin it smells like an older lady, and I’m simply not old enough to pull that off yet. It’s an incredibly invasive floral gourmand. That said, unlike other Zara perfumes I enjoy, this lasts a very long time, especially on clothes.
I absolutely love this Zara perfume; it was my first purchase. It’s sweet and floral, with a vanilla and caramel dry down that’s perfect for everyday wear.
Delicious scent. Ideal for an evening dinner in autumn or winter. The sweet caramel note lingers with the musk, giving it a powdery touch, while the vanilla remains very soft.
A very subtle fragrance that doesn’t last at all. It’s lovely but fades quickly. I bought it blindly and it’s extremely understated. I wouldn’t recommend it.
If you’re looking for something daily, floral, sweet, extremely delicate, almost like a whisper… this is your scent. To me, it smells much more floral than it actually is, with caramel coming through later. It’s a fragrance I literally bathe in on migraine days when I can’t tolerate anything else, or on days when I just don’t feel like wearing perfume. It saddens me that it’s an eau de toilette and fades in under an hour, even on clothes. If it were an eau de parfum, I’d be head over heels. Will I empty the bottle because I’m obsessed? Yes. Would I recommend it? No.
I use it at home to relax or sleep, or for morning walks in winter with my dog. It’s for those days when you fancy something very sweet. To me, it smells basically of caramel and slightly powdery vanilla with a hit of patchouli, resulting in a very warm and cosy scent. It has moderate projection and lasts around 4-5 hours. I’m not sure if I’d repurchase it as I have other fragrances for those occasions and I prefer its Summer version more, but I do enjoy it. Scent 7/10, Longevity 4.5/10, Projection 7/10, Value for money 8/10, Versatility 6.5/10, Packaging 5/10. Would I buy it again? Perhaps.
I think it’s one of Zara’s most forgettable perfumes. Sweet floral with patchouli, with no projection or sillage, and lasts only 3 hours on my skin. Nothing like Flowerbomb from V&R. It’s not worth it as the scent isn’t particularly rich, it lacks originality, and the longevity is poor.
It’s probably my favourite Zara fragrance, but it’s a shame it doesn’t last at all. I have to bathe in it to make it last a bit longer. Sweet and spicy, ironically it doesn’t go amiss in summer.
It’s exquisite when first sprayed, but after a while I detect a smell of baby medicine (a children’s medication).
It doesn’t last long, but it’s sweet without being cloying; elegant for women over 35, nothing youthful. To me, it smells floral-sweet. I gave it 4 stars and loved it, plus I thought the longevity had improved. I wear it on clothes, though the trail is a bit light.
Didn’t really convince me: very woody, caramelised and too sweet. It gives me vibes of an older person and smells edible. It’s not terrible, but it tires me out, so I gifted it away.
I liked it at first, but then I noticed it barely lasts on the skin and when I do catch a whiff, it’s too sweet and woody. I prefer fresh, floral scents. I ended up gifting the 100ml bottle and won’t be buying it again.

Reminds me of LA BELLE, but without the pear note.
I can’t smell anything mentioned in the reviews… I think it’s a different scent, even though it’s described as oriental. It must be my skin, as I only smell alcohol. I’ll keep looking. Update: still nothing, another fragrance I’ve gifted away.
I bought it blind because my local Zara doesn’t have testers and I wanted it for the price. I didn’t expect much, but I absolutely love it; it’s now my favourite from Zara. It lasts much longer than other Zara scents; with just a few sprays, the scent lingers for about six hours on my skin and even longer on clothes. It’s soft and feminine. When I first tried it, I couldn’t stop sniffing myself. I’m not sure if the name fits as it’s not oriental; it’s more sweet, but it’s exquisite.
It’s a dark vanilla caramel, not the typical teenage vanilla scent. I feel it’s best for afternoon and evening wear in cold weather. It’s very comforting. It reminds me of Killian Love Don’t Be Shy.
I bought it expecting something heavier and sweeter, but it turns out to be a light, wearable and fresh sweet scent, suitable for any season. I thought I’d bought a different fragrance, but upon checking, yes, it is Zara’s Oriental. The notes say bergamot, caramel and vanilla, but to me, it smells purely of leather. I can’t understand where the sweet or gourmand elements are; it actually made me feel nauseous.
According to their website, the reformulation includes bergamot, vanilla and caramel. They’ve cut more than half of the original notes, so it’s not a wow perfume, but they’ve done a decent job. For the price, it’s not bad; perfect for everyday wear for those who enjoy vanilla.

I bought it because it came up as a recommendation on my phone when I was shopping at Zara and was 50% off, so I ordered it without knowing how it smelled. I love Zara perfumes, but this one isn’t for me. It’s very sweet; you can tell the caramel and vanilla, but the oriental aspect is missing. Very gourmand without standing out. They say it’s a clone of another well-known scent; I believe it’s a clone of many. Plus, it doesn’t project; it stays right on the skin. It just didn’t convince me.
One of my Zara favourites. Who would think that a perfume costing just £9.95, which basically smells of caramel and vanilla, could be elegant? Well, it is!
I absolutely love it and, curiously, I use it after a shower before bed. It relaxes me immensely, and I love discovering the fragrance in the morning trapped between the sheets. It has something that makes it blend into my skin and seem to disappear, yet it sticks to any fabric near the body like a magnet. Anyway, it’s a delight. Next time they restock, I want to try the Oriental Intense.
It’s strong. It works well when you want to be perceived as more formal or mature: a work date, receiving an award, getting a visa, etc. It has good longevity and lovely top notes, but then it becomes a bit tiring. It’s like putting your nose in a wooden chest: its woody notes fix very well. I’m not fascinated by it, but like several Zara perfumes, it’s brilliant value for money and can make a good gift.
