Perhaps the best thing about Roseto is that oud with a citrusy freshness from cardamom; at first it’s a bit sharp, almost like paprika, but what remains is that wood blended with that astringent, fresh sweetness of cardamom. It has a slightly sweet note, perhaps half caramelised, which I haven’t quite identified. Projection and longevity are decent; for the price, you can’t ask for more. In terms of scent, it’s pure luxury.
Excellent value for money; smells like Oud Wood but with a sweeter touch.
A warm and easy-to-wear fragrance; a good entry point into the world of oud at a very reasonable price.
