The first impression is vivid and mouth-watering, before a drier, more leathery character comes through. That movement gives the perfume its distinctive shape.
Up top are passion fruit, raspberry, bergamot, grapefruit and saffron. The citrus element lends clarity, the berries lend juiciness, and saffron adds a measured warmth.
At the heart, caramel, violet, vanilla, rose and gurjun balsam create a softer, more rounded middle. The florals feel cushioned by sweet and balsamic notes rather than standing alone.
Underneath, ambergris, leather, patchouli and cypriol provide a grounded, woody close with earthy, smoky and lightly animalic shades.
