Orange blossom and mandarin shape the top, peony, osmanthus and apricot form the heart, and hinoki cypress wood, amber and white musk shape the dry-down.
At first, juicy mandarin brightens the orange blossom. The effect is crisp and freshly soaped, with only a whisper of sweetness.
The middle becomes more aqueous and pulpy. Peony lends transparency, apricot lends softness, and together they frame the apricot-tea character of osmanthus.
There is also a rosy, faintly animalic undertone that gives the white flowers a little more depth.
