A brutal, straightforward fragrance: top-tier quality with an old-school, masculine vibe (the ten women who look at me and dare me to wear it). Notes of amber and metals. I recommended it to an old friend one night because I was blown away, and she told me the perfumer’s story – if I understood her right, he studied fashion in the 80s before making his mark. She happily promised a tester and kept her word by bringing me a sample the next time we met. It’s an exceptional scent: like blending the full expansion of a mineral oud from Tom Ford, swapping that oud for finer fougère and barber-shop nuances in the truest sense. Power and balance. A real presence.
