Descripción

Pistachio Kunafa by Anfar 1950 is an oriental vanilla family creation, designed for men and women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, was conceived by perfumer Ahmedullah Anfar. In its opening, pistachio and caramel take a sweet and toasted first step. The heart reveals a combination of sesame, tonka bean and cardamom that adds complexity and warmth. The base settles on an enveloping blend of vanilla, chocolate, talc-like notes and amber.

    I loved it; it smells like chocolatey pistachio with a strong, undeclared presence of Nutella. It’s lovely for anyone who enjoys smelling sweet things, specifically chocolate with pistachio and Nutella.

  • Phew, I had expectations. It doesn’t smell of chocolate, nut, pistachio, or cardamomo. It’s ultra-feminine; I ordered it thinking of dark chocolate based on reviews, but I didn’t like it at all. It smells of vanilla milk with chocolate shavings, but the chocolate accord is way, way, way too low. It reminded me of school days smelling of vanilla milk and skipping breakfast because I didn’t like it. Anyway, it’s perhaps a gourmand scent, but I doubt you’d enjoy smelling like that all day. I wouldn’t wear it at all; I can’t find an occasion for it. At least my mother liked it, so I don’t despise it, but I don’t enjoy it either.

    Smells like pistachio ice cream with chocolate sprinkles and a hint of vanilla, very well done. It feels feminine, but if you’re confident in your heterosexuality, you could even pull off a female version of Paris Hilton. Smells like dessert and women love it.

    I didn’t like it at all. I had high expectations and it doesn’t smell of creamy chocolate or Nutella. You can detect the pistachio, but it leans more towards almond and feels dry to me, very similar to Italika by Xerjoff. As a lover of pistachio scents, it was a total disappointment. I’ll let it macerate and hope it picks up more chocolate than everyone talks about; I’ll update the review then.

    I had to read the comment below to understand the scent xD, and yes, I also detect vanilla and vanilla bean milk, hahaha. It’s pistachio but very little chocolate; the Tonka bean eats it all lol. It’s not a bad perfume, but I find it dense and heavy to wear ;_;

    I had to read down to understand the scent xD. Yes, it smells of vanilla and vanilla milk, haha. Little pistachio; the tonka bean eats it up lol. It’s not a bad perfume, but I find it dense and heavy to wear. ;_;

  • I’ve been wearing it for a while and it has good longevity; others like it and ask me to wear it. I find the notes spectacular and it literally smells like its name: chocolate with pistachio.

  • To be honest, I’ve been wearing this perfume for a long time now and it has excellent longevity; other people like it and ask me to wear it. To my taste, the notes are spectacular and it literally smells like its name: chocolate with pistachio.

    I tried it in-store and it smells like chocolate chip cookies, very pleasant. Clearly feminine, but I loved it all the same.

  • It delivers on its promise: dark chocolate and pistachios, very vanilla-forward when dry but not as sweet as recent gourmands. I love it. Although it tends towards the feminine, it looks spectacular on a man.

  • It delivers what it promises: dark chocolate and pistachios, very vanilla-heavy in its dry down but not as sweet as recent gourmand launches. I love it. While it tends towards the feminine, it can look spectacular on a man.

    To each their own. It may not be a benchmark in the gourmand genre, but it tries. Without complex notes, I find it more feminine due to the caramel, though it could be unisex once the cardamomo dries. There’s a strange note, I think sesame. I wouldn’t wear it, but it’s different: it uses roasted pistachio, which I love, whereas others make it creamy and that’s fine. It’s linear and doesn’t evolve, but it delivers on its promise. It’s not a favourite, but it works. Remember opening a pistachio and cookie palette: that first touch is what you get on the skin.

    I can’t stand it. It’s the only one in my collection I want to return. I bought it based on online recommendations, especially Daniel René’s, which claimed it was identical to Dubai, but it’s not even close. Total regret.

    I can’t stand it. It’s the only perfume in my entire collection that I wish I’d never bought. I bought it due to excellent recommendations and reviews (online), especially from Daniel René who described it as ‘identical to Dubai chocolate’… I must say, nothing could be further from the truth. I’m very regretful about this purchase.

  • The best pistachio and chocolate fragrance I’ve tried. I’ve used several from other brands, and this takes the prize. What a lovely look! 👍👏

    The king of pistachio and chocolate by Armaf. If you don’t like pistachio, run away; it’s your only option.
