This smells identical to Police’s To Be, the one in the fuchsia skull bottle. Its fruity notes with a sweet base make it both youthful and elegant, plus it has excellent staying power.
I imagine it as a raspberry ice cream palette: a bit sweet, a bit tart, refreshing on hot days. The dry-down is slightly sweeter but maintains that light, youthful vibe. For me, it’s a great beach perfume. The performance is average, less potent than the Secret Temptation range.
I’ve tried it only a little, but it’s worth it for the price. At first, it smells strongly of alcohol mixed with something sweet, almost synthetic, like powdered raspberry juice. But over time, it evolves into a fruity-floral scent with a citrusy twist, very summery. It’s ideal for daytime wear, has a lovely trail, and transports me back to my teenage years with those sweet perfumes; it even lifts my spirits; I can almost see myself in a short dress by the beach. The only downside is that it doesn’t last long, only about 2–3 hours before it fades.
I absolutely love it for spring and summer; I discovered it when a client wore it in the height of the heat and it looked stunning on her. It’s fresh, sweet, fruity, and floral. The pear and raspberry give it a sweet touch, the tangerine adds citrus, and the violet brings out the floral notes. As I prefer the fruity over the floral, I layer it with Sunshine Mimosa from Bath & Body Works to boost the tangerine and prevent the violet from dominating.
