  • I love it! It’s like floating in a cloud of creamy orange and vanilla notes, very persistent and hard to get because it’s no longer sold. Advice: only for those who love intense and sweet fragrances.

  • They gave it to me for my birthday. It’s hard to explain, but it smells of orange and vanilla… it smells like summer, like sunscreen. I really adored it, what a shame it’s been discontinued… I can’t believe it :(. Rating: 10/10, it was my favourite fragrance.

  • They gave it to me for my birthday and it’s quite an enigma: notes of orange and vanilla that smell of summer and sunscreen. I adored it; it’s a shame they’ve discontinued it, I can’t believe it 🙁 10/10, it was my favourite fragrance.

One of the richest perfumes I’ve ever tried and owned. What a pity it’s no longer available.

  • Citrusy and sweet at first, smells like freshly cut mango (probably the passion fruit). After 20 minutes, the orange zest comes out, followed by just the fruit’s bitterness; finally, the sandalwood appears. That’s how it is on my skin. Longevity and sillage are moderate. It’s for summer, although I don’t find it as sweet as I’d like, I use it quite a lot.

  • I love it to bits. When I tried it, I fell in love with that blend of palm leaf, coconut and orange. It smells divine, super summery and fresh, with good longevity. I have a 100 ml bottle I keep like gold, I’m reluctant to use it

  • What a pity they stopped selling it, it smells delicious, fresh and gives you energy and a natural feel; finding it here in Chile is a nightmare

What a pity it’s discontinued. It smells lovely, fresh, energising and natural. Finding it here in Chile is a right nightmare.

I still remember that citrus scent, like freshly squeezed orange, a perfume I never got tired of but can’t find again

  • I gave it to my mum a long time ago and we loved it, but I couldn’t get it anymore. In a perfumery they recommended one very similar but I don’t remember the brand; it was practically the same; I’m not sure if it was Estée Lauder or which one; if anyone knows please tell me because I miss this perfume; it was very rich.

  • Franbenavides

This has been the perfume that I liked most in my whole life; it’s a pity they discontinued it; I never found any that resembled it… it had an incredible summer smell.

  • Ccrystalar

I really loved it; I haven’t found one that enamours me equally… If anyone knows of a similar one, please let me know.

  • This perfume was deliciousoooo; my dad gave it to me when I graduated from school. I loved it, then I bought it once more and they discontinued it. Regrettable because Ralph Lauren fragrances were very rich and at very accessible prices. More than 10 years later and answering the girl below, I think ‘Very Sexy’ by Victoria Secret resembles it a lot (once it has been on the skin for a while) because they share the citrus note. If you like this, it’s very probable you’ll like Very Sexy.

  • This was a perfume delight. I don’t understand why they discontinue these little gems; it’s really a pity, and the worst is that I haven’t heard anything equal!

  • Rocks was never my favourite from that unforgettable collection. Anyway, I can’t explain how they could discontinue fragrances so well-crafted and appreciated that quickly won the favour of thousands of users worldwide. I can’t understand that for a company like this, such success and innovation don’t prove profitable. I was also a faithful follower of the Big Pony collections, and they always seemed extraordinary hits. In my early years of financial independence, I waited for each season to see the wonders Ralph would bring. I intensely loved Hot, to the point that I considered it my personal fragrance for many and very happy years. With Cool, I only had one 30ml presentation that I could get, because as soon as it arrived it quickly disappeared from the shelves. I gave Wild to one of my sisters because something so beautiful that I would have wanted for myself could only be for one of them. But I came to talk about Rocks. I think it came out before Hot or almost at the same time, and I stop briefly to talk about it because it was the only one I didn’t use or enjoy in any way. Quickly, when Rocks came out, like the others or perhaps more than the other members of the collection, it became a trend. Everyone used it or wanted it (those were boom times). However, I vividly remember the first impression: the unequivocal and overwhelming top note that for me smelled, no more nor less, like the sweet, powdery mould that citrus produce when they decompose. It didn’t seem especially unpleasant to me, but rather ‘unheimlich’, I’d say, not sure if as much as ‘ominous’ but at least unsettling: the evocation of something perishable, damp, mortal. A rubber doll from my childhood lost by my aunts for years in sordid drawers smelled like that, and I couldn’t ever get rid of that olfactory image so pregnante. What is unquestionable about this collection is the authenticity of its composition, the quality, the sparkling joviality that gave them all a very defined youthful profile, the undeniable originality. In these last years, a time of replicas of replicas where everything resembles everything and is-fine-as-is-while-it-sells, I haven’t smelled anything similar again.

  • I’ll always miss it; it was one of my favourites. I hope they bring it back soon. It smells delicious.

  • I loved it. It was vibrant, bold, cheerful and intense, very youthful and filled me with energy, putting a smile on my face every morning. The fruity and citrus notes were strong before softening into something creamy and warm (perhaps amber). As they say, I don’t understand why they discontinued it.

  • I’m leaving this review for this perfume because, although Ralph Rocks is hard to find, you can still get some on eBay, perhaps at high prices, but it’s a good way to obtain them. I loved that perfume; I think the name suits it very well: versatile, sexy, clean, and with a fresh touch, it had everything. I can’t talk much about notes because I don’t know, but that citrus touch mixed with sandalwood… Ufff, mayy gaddd! A little gem. The only drawback is that it didn’t last as long on me as with other perfumes; on eBay I found the 30ml bottle for no less than $140, and in that sense I wouldn’t spend so much money if it lasted at least 12 hours (on me it lasted about 6 or 7). EDIT: the other day I tried an inspiration of ‘Under the Sea’ (by CH) and it reminded me a bit of this; I understand they discontinued it too, but if you can find any inspiration, it might resemble it.
