I’m surprised no one has talked about it here… Don’t miss out. I’ll start by saying this to avoid creating expectations. I’ll also mention that I don’t know how it was in previous versions because the one I’ve smelled is the 2021 release. If you’ve ever used a rose petal water facial toner, you know how this fragrance smells. It’s true you note some apricot, wood, and hyacinth, but personally, it smells nothing more than rose water. I know a place where they use that water as a room freshener, and my mind automatically goes there because it smells identical. I understand why it’s so unknown to the general public because even when I asked about it, they didn’t know… and yet they had it on the stand.
I’m giving it the credit it deserves. The first time I tried Nahema, I felt everything I said before, yet I couldn’t take it off. I bought an extrait at a laughable price and opened it every day; it was almost an addiction. I’d forget about it, and the next day it would be back in my head. I found testers to smell it more often, and that was my undoing. It has a head dominated by roses and hyacinth, but what a gem of a fragrance. I love how the passionfruit blends with the peach and patchouli to transform everything into something entirely different from the start. It’s true it’s not a bomb, as after the first 10-15 minutes it goes from being huge to something moderate and subtle. For personal use, it’s a treat, and if you’re avoiding current sweet fragrances, you should try it. If you like roses, go for it. Simply, it seems masterful, but you need to give it a chance because it can happen to you as it did to me: going from seeming almost bad to being a gem.
