I wanted to buy this blindly, but luckily I found a tester in a department store. What a relief, because it’s not cheap. I didn’t wear it that day to try it and… it just doesn’t work for me. The scent isn’t unpleasant, but it smells very much like L’air du temps and old perfumes or those worn by older people. It sounds very powdery, like an antique classic.
Absolutely unique aroma, I’ve never felt anything like this. It’s the finest honey imaginable, from another planet like everything this house creates. Beautiful honeyed talc♥️
I owned this years ago and hadn’t used it. I tried this version of ‘Les Légendaires’ and luckily it hasn’t changed: it remains floral, feminine, and elegant. I’m fascinated by the blend of ylang-ylang with honeyed orange and mandarin, without being sweet. The white flowers are in the background but noticeable, and the sandalwood adds a subtle, elegant powdery touch. On the skin, it smells floral-powdery with the orange always present. Like almost everything from Guerlain, it lasts a long time and projects well. I’ll probably add it back to my collection. P.S. Finally have it again.
Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful magnolia fragrances I’ve ever smelled. It reminds me of blooming magnolia bushes; you stop to smell and realise that besides the flower, there’s a honey that gives a fine sweetness without being cloying. The orange and bergamot make it vibrant, while the ylang-ylang adds creaminess without losing elegance. It lasts over eight hours, projecting strongly for the first three before becoming moderate, lingering on clothes until washed. I’d wear it all year, with moderation on extremely hot days. It’s perfect for those who love the magnolia and honey blend with a citrus touch. It’s fascinating!
