Rehab by Initio Parfums Privés is an aromatic woody fragrance launched in 2018, designed for men and women. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with an opening of lavender and bergamot, introducing a fresh and herbaceous character. The heart of the composition reveals the elegance of cedar, vetiver, and patchouli, while the base settles on the warmth of sandalwood, musk, and guaiac wood, offering a woody and enveloping persistence.

  • First impressions: At first, it smells like creamy coconut or a box of creamy coconut with a soft sweetness; then it dries down to a creamy patchouli with slight woody touches. The white colour of the bottle matches the scent. It’s unisex, slightly leaning towards feminine, but a man can wear it too. Enjoy!

  • First impressions: At first, it’s an aroma similar to creamy coconut or a box of creamy coconut and a soft sweetness; after some time, it begins to dry down to a creamy patchouli and some slightly woody touches. The white colour of the bottle matches the scent. It’s unisex, slightly leaning towards feminine; that doesn’t mean a man can’t wear it. Enjoy!!

  • A great discovery from Initio; along with Oud For Greatness, these are the only ones from the brand that have captivated me, and I bought a bottle of this Rehab. As its name suggests, it seems like a perfume to reset and rehabilitate noses. It’s ‘fresh’ and sweet, with a perfect balance that doesn’t overwhelm me. It’s creamy, bright, and dry all at once. They say it smells subtly of coconut, and that’s true, like an olfactory trompe-l’œil: it smells like coconut but isn’t; it’s more sandalwood with vanilla (an undeclared note) giving that sensation. Slightly citrusy when dry and aromatic. When I smell it, I imagine a sunny day, like the breeze from a beach full of tourists mixing with suntan lotion scents. It’s my go-to scent for spring and summer; on warm nights, it’s spectacular. I wear it with white clothes, sportswear, or elegant outfits, for happy and sunny days. It performs very well, lasting 6 to 10 hours depending on the day, and its projection is soft but noticeable, and people like it. The best thing is that it doesn’t cause olfactory fatigue; I always enjoy it without getting saturated. Totally unisex; I’d been looking for something like this for a while, very versatile.

  • What a great discovery this Initio perfume is; along with Oud For Greatness, these are the only ones from the brand that have captivated me, and I had to get a bottle of this Rehab too. As its name suggests, this seems like a perfume to reset and rehabilitate noses. It’s ‘fresh’ and at the same time sweet, a perfect balance without overwhelming me. It’s creamy, bright, and dry all at once. As others have commented, it gives the sensation of smelling subtly of coconut, and that’s true, like an olfactory trompe-l’œil; it looks like coconut but isn’t. It’s as if the sandalwood, along with a sweet note like vanilla (which is also undeclared), gives this sensation. It’s slightly citrusy when dry and at the same time aromatic. When I smell it, I imagine a sunny day. It’s like the air reaching you when arriving at a beach full of tourists, where the scents of suntan lotions mix in a summer holiday breeze. This has become my favourite scent for spring and summer; on warm nights, it’s spectacular… For wearing sporty or elegantly, and I always associate it with the colour of the bottle… a pristine white t-shirt, polo, or shirt, and for happy, sunny days, a genius for those days when I want to feel in high spirits. It behaves very well. Its longevity is good or very good, 6 to 10 hours depending on the day and the environment, and its projection is softer but noticeable, and believe me, people like it. What draws me most to Rehab is that when I use it, it doesn’t cause olfactory fatigue, and at all times I notice and enjoy it firsthand without saturating myself. Totally unisex. I’d been wanting to find something like this for a while, very versatile.

  • It’s become one of my favourites: fresh, creamy and citrusy all at once. I learned not to buy niche scents blindly; after trying a 5cc decant, I realised I needed the full bottle. It’s versatile enough for day or night. The longevity on my skin is around six hours, which could be better for an extrait. I recommend it.

  • Spectacular fragrance! A proper beast mode. I was surprised by a completely different style compared to what I’d tried before. I loved it!

  • What a masterpiece. It’s a tobacco fragrance, even though tobacco isn’t listed among the notes: fresh, sweet in just the right measure, aromatic due to the lavender, and woody at the base. Soft, clean, and relaxing, yet with an interesting sensual touch. The performance is impeccable: good projection for the first 3-4 hours and excellent longevity on the skin. It’s not invasive, so it doesn’t bother anyone. Totally versatile, although I prefer it in autumn/winter. Some may find it masculine, but for me, if you like this DNA, it’s totally unisex. It’s very similar to Viktor&Rolf’s Spicebomb Extreme; to me, it seems more balanced and refined, although if you’re looking for something similar for less money, go for that. 10/10. SPECTACULAR.

  • What a marvel, what a masterpiece. This is a TOBACCO fragrance, although curiously it’s not listed among its notes. A fresh tobacco, sweet in its just measure, aromatic due to the lavender, woody at the base. A soft, clean, relaxing aroma… but with a sensual and very interesting point. Regarding the performance… nothing to object to. Very good projection during the first 3-4 hours with very good longevity on the skin. Nevertheless, although notable, it’s not invasive at all, so you won’t bother anyone. Totally versatile regarding occasion and season, although personally I like it more in autumn/winter. For some people it may be eminently masculine… for me, if you like this type of DNA in perfumes, it’s totally unisex. It’s not necessarily a unique scent, because it reminds me quite a bit of Spicebomb Extreme by Viktor&Rolf. That’s a perfume I know well, as it’s my boyfriend’s signature scent, and I never have enough good words for it. Personally, Rehab seems to me a better balanced and more refined version of the former, which is perhaps a bit sharper and slightly more masculine. Nevertheless, being honest, if you’re looking for a similar alternative in aroma to Rehab, with fabulous performance and for a much lower price… run for Spicebomb Extreme. 10/10. SPECTACULAR.

Rehab is undoubtedly one of my favourite perfumes to date; it has everything for me. Creamy, clean, yet warm, and in my opinion, a tremendously versatile fragrance. I consider it an exceptional signature scent. It can be perfectly used for day, night, dates, the office, any time of year, although on hot days I only use it at night. A unisex aroma leaning more towards masculine. It lasts between 8 hours on me, with moderate projection and sillage. It’s not a ‘beast mode’, but the performance is more than enough for this marvel. And I have little more to add; a proper beast mode fragrance that could be described as simple, but executed to perfection. 10/10

Rehab is my favourite perfume so far; it has it all: creamy, clean, yet warm. It’s super versatile, suitable for day, night, dates, or the office, in any season (on hot days, only at night). A unisex scent leaning towards masculine. It lasts about 8 hours on me with moderate projection and sillage; it’s not a ‘beast mode’, but the performance is more than enough. A simple but perfectly executed fragrance. 10/10

  • Its resemblance to Spice Bomb is very copied, easy to find it at 85%, having the EDT I’ll have to take it out to keep Rehab, this Initio one is much less spicy and stifling, it could be used on summer nights, for that reason it can be more versatile, but the vibe is the same. In longevity and trail, Rehab has more performance.

In this perfume, unlike Spicebomb, we have a much more present and creamy sandalwood (this makes it more unisex than Spicebomb) plus it has an unlisted note of licorice that combines well with its creaminess, I like it but it doesn’t captivate me.

  • Incredible scent of superlative quality, but after an hour it settles very close to the skin, becoming almost imperceptible unless we press our nose. Very difficult to justify the purchase, especially considering the price.

It’s always exciting to try a new perfume, spray it on your skin and forget everything around you, that moment we all wait for, being filled with a scent, loving it or not and accepting it as part of ourselves, that’s our addiction. Every nose is different and everyone perceives smells differently. Rehab is a very good perfume that dangerously resembles Spicebomb Extreme, although the differences in quality are noticeable, in this case higher. It’s a very expressive scent, but in no way too exuberant or overburdened. On my skin, lavender and sandalwood are the predominant notes, with a base of tobacco, vanilla and musk. The perfect combination of notes creates a spicy, sweet, creamy and sexy scent without losing its clean and relaxing character. Perfect in fresh or rainy weather, ideal for outings or first dates, it’s a proposal worth it if the price isn’t a problem and you don’t know Victor & Rolf’s creations. In my case, setting aside Rehab’s best quality, it feels redundant having the two Spice bombs and others of similar cut. Courtesy of Mithrandir.

It’s complex for me to say what Rehab smells like. And I suppose that’s its charm. It’s hard to know. In fact, everyone says they smell things not declared. Every nose catches something different. And that’s the magic I like in perfumery. To me, it smells like playdough. XD. I don’t know why, but that’s how it is. It’s a dense, pasty smell. Almost I can chew it. A woody scent but in a way that’s not dark, a fresh, green wood, I suppose due to the mix with vetiver, patchouli, bergamot and lavender (although I don’t smell lavender or bergamot anywhere) and very musky, yes, a clean and fresh musk. As promised by the Edonist collection, it has an equilibrium that gives harmony and transmits calm. A very peculiar smell. Once you smell it, you never confuse it, very identifiable. Also, the more I smell it, the more I like it. It’s addictive. For me, its performance is moderate, nothing outstanding. And considering its price, it’s quite frustrating. But it’s very versatile; I use it all year, even in summer (I live in a climate that’s not very hot). In summary: Age: 20+ Unisex. For any weather that isn’t very hot. Scent: 9/10. Longevity: 8/10. Duration: 8h. Projection: 7.5/10. Versatility: 9/10. $$$. 2.94 Euros/ml. Final Score: 8.5/10.

  • Creamy, lots of cream. A creamy scent, slightly sweet but clean and formal at the same time. It’s Spicebomb but without that grating bit that I have enough of. It relaxes; the clean musk along with lavender and vanilla make it a Rehab Therapy. Excellent, total signature fragrance. I agree with the previous review that it smells like playdough, but a very good and rich one. I think it’s brilliant for autumn/winter.

  • Well, this fragrance plays in the mixed league of Spicebomb, Bvlgari Black, Tobacco Vanille TF and their clones from Al Haramain, Maison Alhambra and Cremo. I don’t have the original Initio ones. I bought the Rehab decant and on smelling it, it sounded familiar. Today I tried it again and thought: “I HAVE THIS IN MY CLOSET”. Here I found the associations and instantly saw all the clones. I’ll test REHAB side by side with these clones or inspirations, which apparently have nothing to envy INITIO in performance and at an absurd fraction of the price.

  • For me, a creamy version of Spicebomb EDT, less strident in the spice, more balanced. Superior quality ingredients, but without straying from its designer version, the similarity is easily noticeable. If you’re a fan of the linear line, it’s worth it. But if you already have it and it’s not your favourite, a resounding NO. I like it, but the price would make me hesitate to buy it again.

  • A familiar, easy-to-please scent with a youthful touch. Lavender, sandalwood, and although they don’t say it, it smells of cinnamon, woody, and aromatic. The spicy part saturates me a bit. Very versatile but lacks a little personality, curious. I understand why people like it, but it’s the kind of fragrance I’d almost never wear. All pros in performance and scent, but what it lacks makes it feel overpriced. I wouldn’t pay what they ask for this smell. If it weren’t designer price, much less niche price.

  • Fresh and clean luck, a little quiet but with its own essence. Out of everything I’ve tried from the brand, it’s the most versatile and acceptable. It works well in any weather and occasion. It opens with citrusy lavender and settles into a musky sandalwood base that gives it brutal elegance. Good performance, about six hours on skin with a trail that makes you noticed. Buy it without hesitation. 100% recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️
