It bears a strong resemblance to Club de Nuit and Zara’s Vibrant Leather, but ultimately leans more towards smoky leather. It’s not quite as fresh as the others, though it remains a beast. 100% recommended! 🕉️🕉️🕉️
Thirty minutes into wear on skin, the sting of the Zara price tag is significant, but if you buy it alongside the Gourmand Leather pack, it’s totally worth it.
It is the shortest-lasting Zara fragrance: not even two hours on skin.
After more than six months of use, I can confirm it is very rich, especially in the heat. Today I tried Montblanc Explorer and it smells almost identical, save for minor nuances. I also sniffed Black Beast and found similarities; by transitivity, I’ve already ‘smelled’ Creed Aventus (just on the cap). Although the ingredient quality is abysmal, this Zara proposition is good for the current market. It lasts over seven hours if you spray it well, not just with three sprays. Projection is average: the first hour is a beast, then it fades linearly, not abruptly. Recommended for sampling other fragrances and as a solid everyday perfume.
I bought the pack at a good price alongside Gourmand Leather. Speaking of this one, it’s similar to Club de Nuit Intense Man, but a lighter version. I haven’t tried Vibrant Leather, but it’s the same as Club de Nuit, just softer. Ideal for daytime use, with a super fresh opening for heat. The dry-down is similar to Club de Nuit but softer, with that smoky citrus touch. For me, it lasts two hours well detected and about three hours close to the skin. If you like that smoky citrus blend, it’s recommended; if not, pass.
This fragrance is identical to Zara’s Vibrant Leather (the one that resembles Creed Aventus). Zara releases the same fragrance under a different name. It’s just as good, perhaps with the pineapple note slightly more accentuated, as it never fails to appear on my skin. The animal note wasn’t as prominent. Furthermore, it lasted seven hours on my skin. I loved it; it’s an exquisite scent, masculine yet with that delicious pineapple. I recommend it.
I acquired the pack with Zara Gourmand Leather and Zara Rich Leather. Both are good, though not perfect. Rich Leather is fresher than Gourmand; I note a grapefruit top note despite the brand not mentioning it. Its longevity is poor, though with eight sprays I’ve had no issues on skin and clothes. The trail is poor but acceptable; if it included musk, it would be a freshness bomb. My rating: 8 out of 10.
