  Exquisite. Just that. It has distinction. Whoever smells it on your skin and has good taste will know you’re wearing a fragrance from High Society.

  I liked it. It’s very balanced, elegant, and fresh. I bought it second-hand and unused, so I didn’t pay niche prices; I’m very happy to have it. It feels spring-like and has limited longevity, around 3 or 4 hours, though I haven’t tested it enough. For me, it’s brilliant, very well conceived; the only thing I don’t love is its staying power.

  Riverside Drive is a gem by master perfumer Roucel. There’s a definite similarity to the amber accord found in Hypnôse and Egoïste Platinum by Chanel. A fragrance with true class.

  Smells freshly laundered and well-kept. At first, notes reminiscent of the classic green Palmolive bar soap with a citrus and amber touch. Then, the base settles into a balanced amber, neither too sweet nor acidic, very similar to the dry-down of Terre d’Hermès but less earthy. Ideal for almost any weather except extreme cold and perfect for everyday wear. It’s accessible, doesn’t appear youthful, and, being uncommon, will make you smell different. On my skin, it lasts over 8 hours; even after washing my arm three times with soap, the scent remains.
