It’s one of my favourites from Zara’s first 2024 rose collection; I suspect there will be more. The opening is a vivid young red rose, very noticeable. The dry-down is lovely, but the rose fades to evolve in a different direction. I would have preferred something more linear or with a different base, as the opening is simply gorgeous. Does anyone know what perfume has that initial note?
I never understand those who vote for similar perfumes on Fragrantica. This smells distinct; it’s not a dupe of A La Rose by MFK, nor is there even a comparison in the rose note.
I bought it to try the brand out due to the hype. I love the notes; the rose and lychee are very perceptible. It smells like powdery rose, almost like carnation, with the fruit adding freshness. The only flaw is the longevity, lasting just 2-3 hours, and the development is poor: a good opening but then it changes and becomes identical to the other arm. Perhaps it’s a house signature. It lacks sillage; it’s a personal scent. Warning: wear on clothes, not skin, as it irritates some people. These are low-quality perfumes with beautiful bottles at a good price only during sales, ideal for emergencies, modest gifts, or carrying in a bag, but not for dinners or nights out. I’ll try the others, but I can’t see myself buying them regularly. Scent 7/10, Sillage 7/10, Longevity 7/10.
