I fell in love with it the instant I put it on my skin; I knew it reminded me of one I already owned. Suddenly, I realised: it smells like Eilish by Billie Eilish. Absolutely bonkers!
I fell in love with it the moment I smelled it on my skin and knew it reminded me of one I already owned. Suddenly, I realised it’s similar to Eilish by Billie Eilish. Absolutely bonkers!
The top notes aren’t for me, but it shares the heart and dry-down with one of my favourites: Modern Muse Night by Estée Lauder: vanilla, heliotrope, jasmine, amber, sandalwood and musk. Delicious, intriguing and nocturnal. I can imagine an opera night in the cold winter of Milan with Sensual Vanilla.
Top, top, top.
I’m sticking with this version: the Billie Eilish one is like a decaffeinated Let the Good Times Roll from Lush, with a horrible bottle and a much higher price tag. I prefer the Zara one; it has more nuances, the packaging is minimalist and beautiful, and it’s affordable 🙂
For me, the opening is a mess; I don’t know which note gives me total rejection. It feels like putting on a bitter, ugly tincture and trying to cover it up with sugared water. Although that sensation fades quite a bit after a few minutes, I still notice it lingering in the background, preventing me from enjoying the rest. That said, it has good longevity.
Spraying it brings the top notes to mind of Lush; it’s super herbal with a touch of masculinity. It then evolves into something sweeter, though it feels slightly dissonant with the herbal base. I see huge potential for layering. A very interesting fragrance. I absolutely loved it!
In short, it’s Billie Eilish. It’s not identical, but in my opinion, it’s quite similar and costs half the price. It’s excellent, plus it lasts just as long. Both have that unisex, gourmand vanilla character. I recommend it a thousand times.

Refined vanilla… niche quality.
When you read ‘pure vanilla’ in the description, you expect the real thing, but ‘oh surprise’, you don’t get it. They mention mocha, but it smells more like greedy chocolate, those dubious-quality chocolate biscuits. The first half-hour is more entertaining thanks to the red fruits, then it settles into that monolithic scent. I don’t want to smell like that.
I picked it up blind because I love Zara’s vanilla line; this is my third. It’s a very nice perfume. The only thing that disappoints me is the skin-scent effect, almost a second skin: very subtle and soft. I’d love more projection. Fresh lavender comes out, with vanilla lingering in the background until it dries down. I detect undeclared notes like coconut and a hint of cocoa. It’s very creamy and gourmand. After three hours, it’s barely noticeable, so you need to reapply, but in terms of scent, it’s exactly what I was looking for and more.
I bought it blind because I love these vanilla chapters from Zara; it’s my third from that line. It’s very pretty. The only thing that disappoints me is the scent on the skin: very subtle, soft, and I would love more projection. Fresh lavender opening, vanilla in the base until the dry-down. Notes not declared but I can feel: coconut and something of cocoa. It’s very creamy and gourmand. After three hours it’s barely noticeable, so you have to reapply, but in terms of scent, it’s exactly what I wanted and more.
It hit me like a tonne of bricks
I really liked it.
I bought it blind and it’s not bad. It smells promising for a vanilla, nothing of that synthetic little-girl scent that gives me a headache. It’s a mature scent, pity it lacks a great trail; it’s very intimate, right up against the skin. If people don’t get close, they won’t notice it. I’d wear it daily in winter or autumn.
It’s like wearing luxurious vanilla-talc powder on your skin. It makes you feel wonderful, although the trail is very intimate and soft. Ideal for sleeping through cold autumn and winter nights.
Zara Sensual Vanilla is more than a simple vanilla scent. It blends sweet and floral notes with a fresh touch. The lavender and bergamot open clean and herbal, while vanilla, rose, and jasmine warm the heart. The base of amber, musk, and sandalwood adds sensuality and longevity. Ideal for everyday wear and cooler climates, perfect for autumn and winter. It’s versatile; although sweet, the herbal notes make it suitable for the office and casual outings. Great for classic and romantic styles.
It’s very similar to Nebras, but this sensual vanilla is softer and less dense for my nose. Being half the price, I recommend it without hesitation. I now own both; with this one, I can shower without guilt—I think that says it all.
I tried it, but it doesn’t hold up in this heat. It feels too dense and cloying, though I’ll admit the longevity is top-notch.
