  I have tried many fragrances over the years, but few are as elegant as Secret Joly. It is a spectacular potion with perfectly balanced flowers, none dominating, adorned with a soft sweetness, a light animal touch at the start and a seductive dry down that almost absorbs everything. It does not contain oakmoss, but has a chypre and vintage touch. The trail is moderate-to-notable and lasts over 12 hours on my skin. Ideal for elegant events, wearable all year round, a marvel. Scent 9/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Value for money 7/10, Versatility 5/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy again? Yes.

  Secret Joly: Opens with a fresh, floral jasmine that greets you immediately. Then, a bouquet of hyacinth, gardenia and neroli joins that jasmine, which now has a sweet touch while maintaining total control. In the dry down, the blend settles, becoming more floral as the musk appears with a very marked algae note that gains strength over time (no honey, tobacco, benzoin or Peru balsam). The result is a floral bouquet dominated by jasmine, embraced by the musk and a clean animal algae that doesn’t bother. It lasts between 5-6 hours, and on the skin it endures for over 8. It is elegant, refined and unisex. It evolves from a fresh, green jasmine to a sweeter one, finishing floral. That clean animal algae and the musk give it distinction. Another gem from Oriza L.
