  Begins with a soft, pleasant smoky touch, nothing aggressive. The first thing I notice is the iris, even though it’s not listed; it sounds like a blend of oud, amber and other notes. As it dries, it smells just like Yves Saint Laurent M7 or Bvlgari Man in Black, and even resembles Givenchy Gentleman EDP, but with less sweetness and more talc-like, smoky texture. It brings to mind Emanuel Ungaro L’Homme, but this is more potent, projects better and the ingredients seem of higher quality. I picked it up on Black Friday for 34€ for the 60 ml bottle, normally priced at 42.50€. For me, it was a total success. The brand has several interesting, high-quality perfumes for both men and women. Highly recommended. Edit, 09/03/2024: today I tried Bvlgari Man in Black Parfum at a perfumer and I’d say they are identical.

  I tried it this afternoon and, rather than Men in Black, it reminded me of Bulgari Black, the one in the tyre-shaped bottle.

  Starts very similar to Bvlgari Man in Black for the first hour, then awakens into a quality unisex oriental with good longevity. Does it serve as an alternative to Bvlgari Man in Black? Yes, in current batches. I stick with the other flankers in the line because they far surpass the original.
