There is a clear tension here between verdant freshness and something more rugged. Fig leaf and green notes, brightened by bergamot, give a leafy, citrus lift, while cardamom lends gentle warmth and spice.
Rose provides the floral core, softening the greener elements. Against leather, it takes on a faintly animalic and smoky character rather than feeling purely delicate.
A marine touch keeps things breezy, and the combination of cedar, sandalwood and musk supplies a smooth, woody-musk backdrop with a powdery finish, echoing the listed green, leathery and musky accords.
