I was waiting for a nostalgic touch hinted at by the name, but this is pure nostalgia: it smells like bottled memory. The blend is so seamless you barely notice the individual notes. It has two phases, fresh and warm, yet they don’t separate into top and dry-down as usual; instead, they alternate depending on the weather or the air. In the fresh phase, lavender, juniper, and a neutral pineapple stand out, neither acidic nor sweet. In the warm phase, resins sweetened with sandalwood take centre stage. I love it.
