I bought it last year to have something strawberry in my collection. It was already fairly well known that the red fruit, strawberry, etc. notes came on strong. Buuut, I think the shortcrust pastry note smells just like lard, butter to me and if there’s a bit of sun, even if the temperature is low, I don’t find it pleasant. I feel like I’ve smeared my skin with butter. Freshly bought and in winter I layered it with Yara and I liked it. But it’s not for everyday wear, because it’s sickening. Of course, it’s the same feeling I’d have if I had to eat strawberry pudding, biscuits, cream and vanilla 3 times a day. So cloying! I’ll offer it for swap. I was really disappointed with this fragrance because I love strawberry and vanilla/cake scent, yet it doesn’t smell like cake at all. I get a very artificial and intense strawberry syrup or sauce flavour (as far as the scent goes because since it’s a body mist it obviously doesn’t last too long), no vanilla or anything else. It’s too synthetic for me. It makes me quite sad because bbw has other cake scents like blueberry bundt cake, happy birthday or iced lemon pound cake that are really well done. I can see that it may have been reformulated, I’d like to try an earlier version to know what it was like but for now I haven’t managed to find one that doesn’t have that horrible syrup smell

I absolutely love them; it smells like pure strawberry dessert 🍓
A great disappointment: I adore the strawberry and vanilla, but it doesn’t smell like cake. It feels like intense artificial strawberry syrup with no vanilla whatsoever. It’s far too synthetic for me. I’m heartbroken because other scents from the brand, such as blueberry bundt cake or iced lemon pound cake, are well-executed. Perhaps it has been reformulated; I’d love to try an earlier version, but I can’t find any without that horrid syrup smell
