About Strigoi
Strigoi: Daniel Josier's Shadowed Woodland and Animal Skin
Daniel Josier's Strigoi, launched in 2026 and created by Daniel Josier, is addressed to men and women alike.
Green forest, resins and earthy-mineral nuances lead into patchouli and sombre woods, resting upon animal notes.
Rather than brightness, the start favours shade: dense foliage, resin and the dry chill of stone after rain.
Earth and mineral notes characterise the middle of the opening, keeping the tone matte and natural with no overt sweetness.
Patchouli brings an earthy depth that dark woods then deepen further, shaded by amber, balsamic and musky facets.
What remains is distinctly animalic, with wood and earth holding the trail close to the skin.
Suited to wearers who favour earthy greens, dark woods and a firm animalic base, and who enjoy stark unisex compositions.
In the end Strigoi feels coherent and restrained: woodland green giving way to dark timber and a quiet animalic warmth.
